So at current price on the assset exchange NEM is being valued at around 5 million dollars
Roughly ... yes. I expect it to go to $50m at least within the first 6 months. 10 times of 5 million? no way!!! It should be 100 times with 500 million in total. Please dont think it is impossible because nothing is impossible.  |

I'm impressed very much when not-existing coin that was purchased 1 000 000 for 0.05 BTC traded for 1 BTC just in few months..
Hope DEVELOPERS implement interactive NEM worldmap, where anyone who accept NEM will be displayed on it. Also some skype analogue is very important.
If i can use map, call and pay with NEM-wallet application from my mobile phone, it is AWESOME !

The Open Alpha is scheduled on 6/25. Let's the countdown begin. We will be inviting selective users into the closed Alpha testing starting in a couple of days. The priority goes to helpers/ volunteers who are in the Trello board or answer the volunteer survey earlier so there is no need to sign up now. Thanks.

Even though I really hope that will happen in the first six months, I like to stay somewhat realistic with my predictions |

It wasn't released yet... That will probably happen at some point in August or September. Right now all people can do is trade tokens which represent NEM stakes on the Nxt Asset Exchange which can be turned into NEM as soon as it is released. If you are on that stakeholder list, it is secured. 2/3 of all stakes will not be put as tokens on AE anyway. Mine as well :-D When the official release comes (it still hasn't been announced), first those on that stakeholder list will receive their NEMs. 2 weeks after, people who bought the tokens on AE will be able to change them for NEMs. |

NXT now is only $60m. Considering whales with millions in cold wallets its its $30m.
Realistic value $5-10m imho.
The whale issue is what has held NXT back. If it didn't have that hanging over it then I'm sure it would be far, far higher than it is today. Yep. NxT used to be 100 million, and you had to have been blind to miss all the FUD which did it in. Hypothetically the capitalization could had been 200 to 300 million by now. If you read this forum enough most people aren't interested in buying into a get quick rich scheme. Maidsafe and other IPOs were heavily criticized. |

I find it remarkable that NEM, compared to other coins, has essentially been free of FUD so far.
I havnt read so much FUD, most negatives are about distribution makes no difference compared to NXT, and about what benefits will there be that we dont already have. Because there is no FUD on the MOON! Well done to the Dev's catch you up there !  |
