Neat site! It still appears to still be syncing though. It is on block 728912. Maybe the site should somehow show that it is still in the process of syncing? A status of sorts...other than that I like it!

Hi, Potcoin is once again mineable at Hashnova for the week remaining. https://pool.hashnova.com/pools/Potcoin/POT/We have been on the wrong version, but is now re-synced and up to date. Sorry but I should have followed the community thread a bit closer. Cheers, David

We are on block 94000 POSv hits 97500. If my calculations are correct. 97500-94000=3500 blocks to go.. at 40sec blocks that's only 38 hours till POSv.. whoo hooo..

975,000 - 940,000 = 35,000 35,000 * 40 = 1,400,000 seconds or 23,333.33333333333 minutes or 388.8888888888889 hours or 16.2037037037037 days. You missed some ZEROs

%5 percent interest/year, but POSv hasen't kicked in yet. It will be about a week or so. We have 16 days give or take till it kicks in. The stake rate is 5%, but I believe that with this being POSv 2.0 there is code for it to split the 5% of the total money supply among those actively staking, if I am correct, that means that if 50% of the coins are actively staking then the effective rate for those coins would be 10%, this is a decent incentive to get the coins off the exchanges and actively staking. I looked through the code and I think I found the relevant chunk of data but I am not a code monkey, if someone who understands source better than I could look through it and confirm, that would be awesome.

Wondering....I imagine you have to keep the wallet open (and unlocked?) for it to stake or does it work like Bottlecaps where you can open the wallet every few months and you quickly get stakes?
Perhaps even with Bottlecaps it would be better to keep the wallet open but it stakes so quickly and nicely just opening it up every once in a while.

All POS coins are designed so that your incentivized to keep the wallet and therefore a node open and running 24/7 to help secure the network. Coins like caps, hbn, hyperstake have a max subsidy per stake, depending on the amount of caps your staking, you might be throwing money away by having it stake only once every few months. POT doesn't have that, so yes, you can open it once a year and get your 5% likely almost immediately depending the coin age, but your better off and so is the network if you can leave it open and unlocked more often to help support the network. Compounding won't be much, but it will help your coins grow a bit faster.
