Why am I getting a shitload of rejects with this coin? I'm using the same config I use with every single coin and I have never had this issue. Mining at pot.scryptominers.com

Is there an issue with payout on cryptovein?  I mined thru at least 5 blocks and saw my address listed on the pool stats page the whole time, updating like it should.  Still haven't received any payout and not listed on the payout tab.  I've used it before with good luck but not today it seems, address start PQk38...

I had that problem too. Couldn't solve it. Tried everything. Switched to one of the non-p2p-pools.

Just a reminder to spread the love around with your hashes.

POT.CripToe.Com

is still puffin' along without issues at 0%.  Throw a rig our way, and you won't be disappointed.

Not sure if anyone else has done these calculations, but have a look:

--------------------------------------
420 POT per block
40 second block time
--------------------------------------

Hourly
3,600 seconds / 40 second block time = 90 blocks per hour
90 blocks = 37,800 POT mined per hour

Daily
90 blocks * 24 hours = 2,160 blocks per day
2,160 blocks = 907,200 POT mined per day

Yearly
2,160 blocks * 365 days = 788,400 blocks per year
907,200 POT * 365 days = 331,128,000 POT mined per year

--------------------------------------
POT mined in 1 year: 331,128,000
POT left to be mined after 1 year: 88,872,000
--------------------------------------

Block subsidy halves at 840,000 blocks. After 1 year we'll have 51,600 blocks left that pay 420 POT.

It'll take just under 24 more days to mine those 51,600 blocks (21,672,000 POT).

After 1 year and 24 days, the block subsidy will halve. There will be 67,200,000 remaining POT at that time.

If the block subsidy is only going to halve one time, the remaining 67,200,000 POT will be mined in just over 148 days (at 210 POT per block):

67,200,000 POT / 210 POT per block = 320,000 blocks

320,000 blocks / 2,160 blocks per day = ~148 days

What this means

All POT will be mined after 537 days from the launch date.

Launch date was Jan 21, 2014. The last POT block should be mined by July 12, 2015.

That is just under 18 months from now.

What's your point stoner?

Hold on to your POT (the supply will be depleted in less than 18 months)

All calculations were based off the specs posted on the potcoin github page: https://github.com/potcoin/potcoin
If someone can double check / verify my calculations, that would be much appreciated.

Really like this coin but, as I can see you don't need Cryptsy to dump it into the ground. You're doing it pretty good so far on CryptoRush. :/

http://www.coindesk.com/million-never-enough-chinese-laundry/

I was just reading this article on coindesk, and towards the end they are talking about crypto for gambling, porn, and some other vice when they mention "just last week someone created Potcoin." Or something close to that. So we are getting some mainstream bitcoin media mentions.  Go team Go.

Hold guys, prices 'seem' good, probably really nice profit, I have a friend getting 9 ltc a day from pot but Im not letting that sway me and dont let it tempt you, hold my friends we need demand and this coin will slingshot past Pluto screw the moon.

Oh and if you cant afford to hold and need to sell now just a tip, put your sell order above buy order price, if you sell for what the mickey mouse exchanges tell you then you are being foolish.
