If you use those cables you will have to modify the onboard socket that it plugs into. The ends of female connector on that cable are too bulky to fit into the pcb socket.

The plastic there is flimsy enuff to cut with a exacto or even cutting pliers...

True dat BUT at least the pin pitch is correct.  It was a PAIN finding the correct pin pitch on an assembled cable.  Sooooo ...... It's time to get jiggy with me exacto knife :-)

For those that are trying to salvage their BJ PSU like myself, BTOS Tech has them in stock.  You can preview the cables here: http://www.btostech.com/store/pc/Seasonic-Modular-Cables-c79.htm.

George Lai at that BTOS was extremely helpful and I was able to get full sets of cables for both my SS-1000XP.  As for special jumpering, I disagree.  I have one of my SS-1000XPs jumpered using the black/green pin running 2 Antminer S1s atm.

you should be able to take it out of the case you might need to buy cables from ebay or seasonic to use it on a pc for a power supply.

anyone know how run the babyjet psu (seasonic) outside the bj's case ?
thanx in advance   Wink

Not only the normal Green to Black jumper but also these damm seasonics require a super secret jumper, the details of which are not even revealed on the sesonic website.

Seasonic must have countless returns on their power supplies that are in fact TOTALLY FINE because their customers only do the green-black jumpering for testing AS THEY ARE INSTRUCTED TO DO BY SEASONIC via the website.

I don't understand Seasonics thinking and waste of everyone's time...

Anyone asked HF what they have done with the PSU cables, ? I doubt they got the PSU without them, and since they were obviously planning on uprading their BJ they must have kept them.

I wouldn't mind paying shipping to whoever inherited of them.

Does anyone know if the original HF image will work on the RPi anymore?  It looks like in its start-up code it references startup.hashfast.com which i think is now redirected to their home page.   If so,  would anyone mind making an image of their working RPi image and post it for others to use as a new base when your SD card shits out?

Thank you so much!!

Also, My miner is down because of my RPi.  So i have decided to try to host with one of my laptops.  I am running windows at the moment,  and have used zadig to get the correct USB driver (I think).   When I try to run CGminer i get this error:

Any help would be much appreciated.   My babyjet has been dead for about a week now.

It's telling you what's wrong. 12v supply is bad.

I replaced all my connections and replaced the power supply with an identical one.   And both my boards are given me the same error message. Unless they both died at once, which I think is highly unlikely.  Is there anything in the config files that I may not have set up right to give me this error?  This is my first time setting up CGminer out side of MinePeon.

Mmk with the board powered on check voltages across the 12V pins on the 6pin connector to gnd(on the 6pin connector). Also what type of psu are you using to power them: atx power supply or a server psu w/breakout board?
