On one hand, we need to do giveaways to show that we're an open community and not an oligopoly dictating the price.

On the other, that giveaway right in the middle of price rise has probably cut it short - out of 400PMC, probably way over an half has been dumped on the market. We should really consider some more targeted giveaways - the ones on Poloniex are mostly "click the button, sell what you've got, repeat". People probably don't even remember what they got.

It's a shame, I wanna see PMC somewhere between .001-.002 soon Smiley

We might initially have a lot of dumps, since people got it for free. If the interest is high enough and for a suffiscient amount of time, then price rise is likely.

That is the only downside of giving them away at Poloniex... no one needs to download the wallet...
Yeh I'm not sure Poloniex giveaways are gonna help much...

The flaw is that they don't need a wallet when an exchange does the giveaway, so why would they bother getting to know PMC Smiley

I don't really think that it matters. Some may get to know PMC, or maybe none of them will. But it creates transactions, and volume on the exchange. The 24h volume on poloniex is 13.88BTC now, and it even was 25BTC yesterday! That is a 10 fold increase from the 1-2BTC we had the past weeks! I think that is what matters.

Agreed. Volume paints a better picture of value. We should be very pleased about where we are now, but it does not mean we can relax, if anything we must push harder to make it to the next level.

Perhaps Nullu could cordinate the marketing of PMC?

I don't know if I could devote the time to that, but I'm willing to help with ideas or suggestions.

Someone's dumped PMC again on Poloniex. It's just a question of when they run out of PMC to dump, now. Better it happens now rather than later. Get rid of these weak hands.

Even I would be tempted to buy at that price if I didn't already have a stake. So frustrating to see such cheap PMC up for grabs.

It's going to be so funny in a few weeks.  Cheesy

Expect a few panic sellers now. Good sale on PMC coming up I reckon.

At the current sell rate (0.000649) 154 PMC but you could try to set a buy order lower than this

I've not used Poloniex myself, but yes, you send it to the BTC deposit address on your exchange account and wait for the payment to confirm. It can take a little while.
