I'll start a crypsty giveaway in the day. I have 200 PMC to donate and with 2 PMC each I hope to take in 100 new votes. the point are: 1) vote on crypsty 2) tweet about PMC @cryptsy 3)(optional, not rewarded) send an email to crypsty EDIT: this is the final active giveaway/task on http://thisweekscoin.com/forum/index.php/topic,1074.0.htmlNot sure if its you working, or that guy that bought 7 BTC worth of coins yesterday, but cryptsy requests are pouring in now! Is it true? Then I stop my giveaway. havent counted, but before yesterday there was one new request every day or two. In the last 24 hours i've gotten emails about new posts probably 20 times. Till now 4 votes and comments from my "effort"...other 96 available Please don't stop your giveaway. I've just promoted it in the Spanish thread. When you're close to 100 given, let me know to donate some PMC.

Busoni over at Poloniex is a good guy, he rescued .6 of my BTC I had accidentally deposited to my PMC address. It took him 2-3 days but he eventually found a way to do it, meanwhile the owner of another certain bigger exchange said I was on my own and even laughed at me.

This will require trust but..... This is a cold wallet for PMC ( and BTC if you wish to donate but the BTC is all mine! ) 1LottouYrsEtCEhjZEjVUJ8nxYxG2ADJqK Send 0.1 PMC to that address. Pay attention to the transaction ID.... IF the first two digits and the last two digits are the SAME you win... What do you win? only 50 percent. The other 50 percent is being sent to the faucet: http://faucet.premineco.in/No, I am NOT a computer geek... I need you to tell me you have won... I will go to the block explorer and verify... Please just message me... I can only pay you from the address the 0.1 was sent from... that means you MUST use the PMC wallet. I can't send the money back to an exchange address... If you send MORE than 0.1 it simply goes into the funds for the prize and faucet... If you send less that 0.1 I will not count it as an entry... But it will ALSO go into the prize pool... I will make nothing off of this.... but hopefully the faucet will... and one lucky person.... Odds are 1/256 to match first and last two digits... Thanks

My best guess is (1) the file is actually called premine.conf.txt with the true extention hidden in the windows settings. or (2) the fire is not in the %appdata%Premine folder. Can you confirm either case ?

Try going to the debug console (Help -> Debug Window -> Console) and typing in: addnode <ip> add where <ip> is the IP of your nodes you'd otherwise put in your conf file. You'll need to do it every time you open the wallet though...

I own a shitload of these coins. I was just wondering: Are people currently actually mining for transaction fees? Is there data on that? And if so, what's the point? What if there were no transaction fees, then mining would be totally unnecessary?

Don't dump em please! Yes you can mine for transation fees. But really the point is Bitcoin after the block awards are gone... But the big supporters of the coin have block rewarders and such for now... and I hope to induce the community to always give back, via the faucet or extra transaction fees. But the main idea is a coin that does not require an infusion of cash just to maintain a value... BTC requires 1.8 million dollars a day just to aintain a price of 500 USD. PMC requires exactly nothing...
