I own a shitload of these coins. I was just wondering: Are people currently actually mining for transaction fees? Is there data on that? And if so, what's the point? What if there were no transaction fees, then mining would be totally unnecessary?

What are we considering a "shitload" of PMC these days?  Cheesy

Can anybody help me out installing my QT wallet on a mac?

I have manually added a Premine folder to my Library/Application Support and used txt editor to add a premine.conf file containing:

server=1
rpcuser=theusername
rpcpassword=thepassword
rpcport=9335

rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=65.167.153.125
addnode=65.167.153.115

Still it does not want to sync, saying: no block source available.....

please help.....

Not to hijack the thread or anything but if people are looking for another unique coin to consider investing in, check out Pxl coin

http://www.pxlcoin.com

There is only half a million mined so far, a million max and each coin buys you a pixel of ad space.
I figured fans of PMC might be interested in another rare coin but it really needs some major traction at the moment.

I was around when it launched. It's an interesting concept, but it all hinges on the advertising, which is the draw of the coin, and also its potential downfall. Perhaps if the site had an automated ad submition system or some site traffic stats, but without those it's difficult to really value it.

My best guess is
(1) the file is actually called premine.conf.txt with the true extention hidden in the windows settings.
or
(2) the fire is not in the %appdata%Premine folder.

Can you confirm either case  ?

I have a MAC, so there is no appdata folder, I have placed the config file in Library/Application Support/Premine, and took out the .txt extension, but still nothing...

is the mac wallet using the latest build? Windows wallet has had one or two versions since launch, and these may be out of date now.

Hey guys.  I think I might be getting PMC added to the C-Cex exchange...

The admin had an exploit the other day, and now that they've fixed it, they're adding coins & trying to encourage trading to recoup their losses.

I'll update when I have more info & time Smiley

This will require trust but.....

This is a cold wallet for PMC ( and BTC if you wish to donate but the BTC is all mine! )

1LottouYrsEtCEhjZEjVUJ8nxYxG2ADJqK

Send 0.1 PMC to that address. Pay attention to the transaction ID.... IF the first two digits and the last two digits are the SAME you win...
What do you win? only 50 percent. The other 50 percent is being sent to the faucet: http://faucet.premineco.in/

No, I am NOT a computer geek... I need you to tell me you have won... I will go to the block explorer and verify...
Please just message me...

I can only pay you from the address the 0.1 was sent from... that means you MUST use the PMC wallet. I can't send the money back to an exchange address...

If you send MORE than 0.1 it simply goes into the funds for the prize and faucet...
If you send less that 0.1    I will not count it as an entry... But it will ALSO go into the prize pool...

I will make nothing off of this.... but hopefully the faucet will... and one lucky person....

Odds are 1/256  to match first and last two digits...

Thanks

So far so good...
http://blockchain.premineco.in/address/1LottouYrsEtCEhjZEjVUJ8nxYxG2ADJqK

2 PMC so far ( thanks 1 PMC donation )

0.1 to the address: 1LottouYrsEtCEhjZEjVUJ8nxYxG2ADJqK    ( wallet ONLY, not exchange )
Match first 2 and last 2 digits of transaction ID and MESSAGE ME....

50 percent to you and 50 percent to the faucet...

Looks decent, but small. Never used it though. If its as low volume as our current exchanges, you may want to hold off; spreading out our volume just makes us look less active.

On a related note, our cryptsy posts have nearly doubled today. Either lots of new faces are showing interest in Premine finally, or theres a bot going =)
27 new responses since yesterday, putting our total at 61.
