Charity News: http://www.halotrust.org/I'd like to announce: Charity Website: http://cryptotycoons.com/portal/index.php?cID=141*Temporary website while I build the permanent one. What we need: - A catchy slogan. We're called Premine, they dig up mines for a living. Get creative with the similarities =)
- Graphic Art for advertisement and website.
- Advertising. We as a community need to spread the word.
- Interviews with blogs and cryptonews sites.
HaloTrust: The HALO Trust is a non-political, non-religious NGO, registered in Britain as a charity (no.1001813 and SC037870) and The HALO Trust (USA), Inc. is a non-profit corporation recognised as such under Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code. HALO specialises in the removal of the hazardous debris of war.We have over 8,000 full-time staff in 16 countries and territories, with on-going surveys into new regions. By September 2013, twenty-five years after founding HALO, we have reached some important milestones that include: Over 1.4 million landmines destroyed Over 11 million items of larger calibre ordnance destroyed Over 208,000 cluster munitions destroyed Over 53 million bullets destroyed Over 3,400 heavy weapon systems immobilized Over 165,000 assault rifles destroyed Over 10,423 minefields cleared 33,460 hectares (82,682 acres) made safe from landmines 144,616 hectares (357,353 acres) made safe from unexploded and abandoned ordnance 14,491 kilometres (9,004 miles) of roads cleared Visit the website to read more. A good charity is probably the best publicity we can have! Lets save some lives and get PMC the recognition it deserves! This community needs to get some life back and begin accomplishing things to draw attention to PMC! If you'd like me to add any other coins to the charity, let me know. In doing so, your taking responsibility for advertising the charity in there threads =)

Demand is mainly set by the popularity of the coin, which normally increases as it gets known by more people. Supply usually increases when people mine a coin. This is not the case with PMC. So I expect price to keep going up. Of course anything can accelerate or slow down this trend; or even reverse it. Anything is possible.

... surely there are dumps but they're almost filtered out which will stabilize the price.
This is what I think too. Once the people whose only goal was to make a quick satoshi are gone, the price will be much different.

Thanks for making my point... What you have said is "Premines innovation comes from having a different purpose or goal from the 99% of pumped altcoins" Couldn't have said it better myself.

Premine is literally Bitcoin without block rewards... ( and less total coins, it is a proof of concept )
If Premine is successful it means Bitcoin, after the block rewards are gone, will also continue to be successful... Pooh Poohing Premine is literally Pooh Poohing Bitcoin...
In fact it has been said the 50 percent of all Bitcoins are in the hands of less than 1000 people... The wealth of Bitcoin is extremely concentrated in a few hands... Premine is MORE FAIRLY PRE-DISTRIBUTED ... seriously...
Premine's success or failure is a testament to Bitcoins long term viability. I think it is a good experiment...
As far as 'new and innovative technology' is concerned Bitcoin is like a nice 1970's muscle car. The new fancy coins are neat and have lots of bells and whistles, variable block rewards, proof of stake.. etc... But a lot of that stuff 'could' and perhaps 'should' be 'after market' services... Like Mastercoin is for Bitcoin. The PMC enthusiasts can roll up our own windows...
What we need for PMC now is poker, services, more store items... ( a PMC ebay perhaps? ) More games...
If you have a service you sell for BTC please also sell it for PMC at the exchange rate... that is a start anyway.
I would like to make QR-CODE PMC T-Shirts that are a PMC cold wallet pre-loaded with one PMC... I am working on it...
Anyway lets keep up the enthusiasm...
