you still have 2.99 ETH in that address..... but the wallet is FUBAR I downloaded the whole BC.. What to do now.. Another wallet? Is the ethereum-wallet compatible with mist? Damn... i have no ideas ,i cant even get my wallet to sync on latest GETH ive heard there are using solutions using PARITY instead of GETH but i dont know it well enough to recommend it i have 30k eth frozen in limbo i am not a programmer so i shall not take any risks of replay attacks or lost coins until the foundation release a fix but this is F@cking Sh1t having to wait several days to see if my wallet will sync /or not |

Odd issue just came up with my wallet.
I wanted to transfer some coins to another address (which I've done many times before) and it keeps saying I have the wrong password.
Which is impossible, because I am very thorough with DD on my passwords. So I know it is correct.
I have the latest 0.8.4 wallet and can receive fine into it, but can't seem to send out.
I am running parity for the blockchain and it's caught up.
Anyone else having this issue?

I'm totally new to Ethereum wallet and would like to know if there is a video tutorial how to install and use ethereum wallet including how to maintain the private key.
If there is such a video tutorial please let me know, I need it to use with ICN.

Should be this one: https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releasesaltho i have problems now. stuck at 2339693. Have no ideas why. Had peers and all. Now try to sync from scratch. I am actually surprised it goes so fast. I dont have SSD and have 3/4 synced really fast. Not to mention my old chaindata folder was 27 GB, now is under 5 GB and only 1/4 blocks left. |

If you are using Ethereum Wallet Electron/Mist your private key are encrypted by the password you should set. You can find it in folder keystore in appdata/roaming/ethereum (Win7) or so As I and many of previous users posted here sync lasts about few hours.. Although if network problem will occur it could take more time.. but I hope you will be able to sync your wallet fast |

I installed the Electrum Wallet and I'm downloading the blocks right now, I'm almost at 10% but will see how far will it go after 8 hours. I used Ethereum a lot in the past but only through exchanges but now want to try the desktop wallet and experiement with the private key/troubleshooting. |
