Agree, Supranova is the best available pool for Ethereum at the moment. Can highly recommend it.

Supranova is definitely the best ETH pool highly recommended, all other pools show a fraction of my hashrate! Great work!

Can't help but think that the lack of a normal wallet is part of the plan to keep ICO Ether off the market.  these guys are supposedly geniuses and they cannot release a wallet for the working class joes to use on - gasp - windows?

Etherwall ( http://www.etherwall.com/ ) is one that you can use with GETH but use at your own risk.

And Kraken offers import of presale wallets/keys. There will be an abundance of GUI wallets soon enough.

Mining diff looks set to go over 6T in a few hours

Right now im mining using Ethereumpool.co. Seems like a good pool. I also tried Alphapool, those guys gifted 1 ETH to all miners from yesterday. Difference is that Ethereumpool pays after you mine 1 Eth, Alpha pays out every 1 hour.

Question: Is "gas" just a euphemism for "taxes" or "fee?"  If not, how are they different?  And, if so, why twist words?

You really shouldn't interrupt with your platform and protocol related question this miner jamboree what Ethereum became. Please go away and let the miners perform their vital and very important work.

I have been one of the first supporters of Gavin and Vitalik, and their remarkable innovation Ethereum, and I am not sure Vitalik still read this read, but it is really disappointing that Vitalik has gone this path and let this fucking mining malarkey be part of an innovative idea (what Ethereum supposed to be).

The mining add absolutely nothing to the project, not short nor long term, brings nothing to the table except a few people create, (i.e."mine") coins and then talk nonsense and create hype because they want to sell the fucking coin. To build a community is very important for every digital currency project, but it is shouldn't be this way that the community development is reduced to this meaningless mining malarkey.

The plan was to bring real world businesses and users into the platform by providing them an innovative application. The meaningless mining is not the way to implement the serious business plan of Ethereum.

Mining begets a stable high hash rate network.

Think you're confused....your response had nothing to do with my question and now I'm confused.

Is there a recent/more stable Windows GPU miner that is better? Or is Linux more stable at the moment to mine with? I'm doing 68 MHS, but I getting less than what the calculator reports (4.70 Ether calculator vs ~3 Ether actually).

I think EVERYBODY getting little less than calc shows, it's "normal".

On which pool are you mining??
I tried 3 different pools till now, there are some differences in profit.

Would appreciate it if you came and tried weipool again, fixed some issues with the share system and are taking steps to reduce latency. We're also reporting accurate hashrates now.

Can I ask where you're mining from again?
