Just wondering if anyone could help me with this problem  or should say problems first of all I had mist all synced up running with a etherbase add and contract add after I updated to 5.2 version I couldn't get mist to sync even running geth on its own I tried deleting the blockchain still would only sync up to blocks a few weeks back can't remember the number that's it I left for hours still nothing so I started eth good it synced but now my etherbase add changed and I'm unable to send from the contract add so I decided to take my keystone file and a copy of my backup started ubuntu well mist opens with a black screen so I started geth with --ignore-gpu-blacklist and it works so I think now my etherbase add is correct but the contract add is gone also about 15 mins later mist stops syncing with geth could someone please let me no how I can get the eth out of the contract or how to get the etherbase and contract add together or how to fix this I'd really appreciate it Thank You for any help

Obama meets Yellen , 04/11/2016
In the history of the United States, it has never before taken place that both the President AND Vice President meet "unexpectedly" with the Federal Reserve.  Speculation is already flowing all over Washington, DC that it may have something to do with "the survival of the government."
All the leading bankers in the world will be in DC this week.

Next Tuesday: The Chinese are scheduled to announce their switch from dollar to yuan on Tuesday, April 19th; which will send about two TRILLION in cash back to the US and send inflation skyrocketing overnight.

we could be in for a stock market crash again..or something much bigger...if true , how will this affect ETH and BTC?.... prob in a very very + way  Smiley

I am new to ETH so forgive me if I am asking basic questions.

First, I download the new wallet and I had the same problem with white screen.  I then download version 5.2 and it looks like it works.  I let if run for hours while it downloaded 1.3 million blocks.  When it was done it seem to stall or take even more time processing blocks.  At some point I had to shut down my computer and after rebooting I started the wallet and it is downloading the 1.3 million blocks again.  Is this the way this works or did I do something wrong?  Does the Wallet really take ours to reload the block each time it is restarted?

Thanks.

This picture is not correct

Okay. In this case, please show to us correct picture.

This is the correct chart projection :

3 Bubbles in a row, so close to each other, no big, sustained correction - obvious the entire exercise was a run-up to the long-anticipated Homestead launch.

Now that Homestead's out, & Metropolis not about to launch for several months at least, we get a much larger correction than the previous 2016 bubbles, logically.

Invest in the future ; Doesn't have to be Bitcoin.

lol, cheers for the updated chart, its same as mines with the green lines a few weeks ahead.  Smiley btw where i put he last almost popped arrow head, was my predection of the last dump, i said 10,15% dump could happen.
Reason no big correction ... imo coz its still too cheap for what it can do compared to every single coin out there, its still undervalued.
If this pump was for homestead then that means it began in january and lasted around 3months and you say Metropolis in several months, which suggests to me, either i buy or hodl now as smart money is on the way for the next pump.

I am holding mine. Mining will stop soon and I am sure that will help eth price. We have to have in mind that more and more dapps are coming, slockit will be here soon and that will only boost the price of eth.

It appears to be turning up again. When will the mining stop and what exactly will happen then?

Nobody knows the dates, but it should go to PoS, in couple of months. PoS was allready adressed here, no excact % were released but it should be arround 5-10%. And there will be limited time, after certain time passed it will become unprofitable... It was written couple of weeks ago, look it up in the thread

PoS will happen early next year, not couple of months. I also heard the interest will be lower than you quoted.
