unlimited supply thus far but the mining rewards are loosly 5 eth per block, block every 14 seconds or so is target.

after the switch to proof of stake it will likely stay sans hard cap but i would imagine greatly reduced reward distribution.

Technically Bitcoin is a fork and Bitcoin Cash is the original blockchain. When the hard fork occurred, people had access to the same amount of coins on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.- NIST

I think wait a month or so, then buy if you still like ETH. Lots of things to come in the next month that will help in making a decision to buy/sell.

https://poloniex.com/dao/
To acquire DAO tokens, you can use this page to transfer Ethereum from your Poloniex account to the DAO smart contract. This will appear as an ETH withdrawal in your transaction history. Poloniex will not be charging a network fee for these transactions.

And for poloniex the exchange address is:
0xe165c74659a13cbb9c379742f293622c761d528d

I was getting an error with the DAO exchange page so the admin sent me the address. My rate came back from the rate prior though, not gonna complain Grin May pick up more for that price, i see a large demand for the tokens as it opens trade.

price ETH will go to 0.03btc  Grin

do you have any reliable source of this news?

Look at the symbol he put at the end of the sentence. That is just very wild speculation. Nothing more.

That is amazing. The trade volume in the Poloniex is around 60,000 bitcoin now. That is very large sum.

Hey guys,

I just started my miner on the ethpool.org.

I use claymore and I get 61,5 MH/s. Have submitted 120 shares now.

The pool does show me this 61,5 MH/s but it still shows 0 shares..

Am I doing something wrong or does it take time until the shares are shown?

It's running for about 3 hours now.
By far the best, easiest, most professional, most honest, the most detailed and the most profitable is: http://dwarfpool.com/eth. Also, I earned the highest ETH . All this I checked mining 24 h in all pools.

From blog.ethereum.org:

Quote
Security Alert – Geth suffers from a very low probable DoS attack vector – Update immediately
Posted by Jeffrey Wilcke on May 17th, 2016.
Affected configurations: All Go client versions

Likelihood: Very low

Severity: High

Details: A bug in Geth (and potentially other clients) may suffer from a DoS attack and allows remote attackers to stall synchronisation process almost indefinitely by supplying a valid, lighter chain. More information will be given out a later time including the report that was submitted through the bug bounty program.

Effects on expected chain reorganisation depth: None

Proposed temporary workaround: None

Remedial action taken by Ethereum: Provision of hotfixes as below:

$1 billion market cap was reached two months ago. Then it dropped to $500 million. I hope it will hold here this time.

I have a small amount of hashing going on here: http://dwarfpool.com/eth
Get your miners going and once things are stable you can try tweaking a bit and also setup a local proxy for a bit more speed. My advise though, is to get things going so you have a stable base point before going on.
