ETH-C is gonna be just a copy and past coin if it survives at all. The C will stand for copy. And for this reason the development team should place a self destruct in the next fork update that will initiate in some way through the differences in the chains with regard to the dao attack to prevent anyone continuing to just copy their work. In fact I implore the developers to work on this with the next update. They have every right to do it if it can be done.

ETH-F is gonna be just testnet if it survives at all. The F will stand for Fork, Foundation, or F#cked up ether.

does he really say what i read here ? moral hazard? overblown? in this case ?(fork) in his opinion? 4) Concerns about moral hazard are, in this case, IMO overblown; on the contrary, despite the fork, I have been extremely impressed by the sheer number of formal verification and other secure contract programming projects that have recently emerged in academia. Writing this from inside the middle of an Ethereum research workshop in Cornell, I am very optimistic that the number of bugs in code will decrease greatly over the next year. and is this the vlad he refers to ? did they know of the replay risk ? https://twitter.com/VladZamfir/status/759552287157133313

Some optimism, would not go amiss on this ANN ETH is a successful event for the Crypto Sector It was unexpected and everyone is still trying to come to terms how this all came about. People are still trying to re-explain, re-calculate, re-think, re-discover most of the understandings about Alt coins in comparison to Ethereum. And, send the the feedback to the developers and team, so they can build on past successes into future success. Let's try to stay On Topic.

They've been taking their time about it, the sooner the better. About time the divisive and destructive people got a taste of what they've been dishing out.

ETHC up. ETHF down. Market has chosen the obvious winner.
Planning a 51% attack by ETH Foundation is a sign of despair.

Vitalik said " Casper will make rollbacks infeasible due to its economic finality mechanism in any case.". So there will not be roll back in the future.

I believe him...NOT hmmm why should one believe his promises ? he has this on his page Build unstoppable applications Ethereum is a decentralized platform that runs smart contracts: applications that run exactly as programmed without any possibility of downtime, censorship, fraud or third party interference.
These apps run on a custom built blockchain, an enormously powerful shared global infrastructure that can move value around and represent the ownership of property. This enables developers to create markets, store registries of debts or promises, move funds in accordance with instructions given long in the past (like a will or a futures contract) and many other things that have not been invented yet, all without a middle man or counterparty risk. The project was crowdfunded during August 2014 by fans all around the world. It is developed by the Ethereum Foundation, a Swiss nonprofit, with contributions from great minds across the globe. and did a rollback.

ETC has no plans for development other than keeping it going to pocket new crypto users money. Development like resolving the compiler bug that allowed for the DAO hack and theft to occur.

The fork did happen on 7/20. What plans do you expect for 10 days?

There is no "bug" but it you're referring to the DAO recursive call problem then it can still happen in ETH as well. If ETH makes changes to prevent it or make it less likely then ETC can backport the change. If ETH chooses to bail out every poorly coded contract then ETC will likely not follow that path. Choice is great. Relax and embrace it.
