Etherparty and Rootstock Announce Multichain Smart Contract Solution Smart contract technology is only native to a few different platforms as of right now. One notably absent platform from the list is the Bitcoin blockchain. The Rootstock project aims to change that by bringing its functionality to Bitcoin users. A new partnership between the company and Etherparty will result in accelerated adoption of smart contracts on the Bitcoin network. https://t.co/qBpsWZe76ci just bought 50 eth for enter www.viberate.io ico where can i send them to myetherwallet or jaxx? or is it the same?

Eth is really at very low compated to BTC. I can easily see ETH hitting 60 billion$ before the year ends. It's a massive project especially now that Russians are joining the mining space. Plus you have tons of ICO's coming that bring value into this. ETH can easily beat BTC. Yes, there so many strong ICO project are developed under this Ethereum technology and many are coming. That's good enough to increase the volume and price. Keep going smoothly, there don't need to hurry!

The European Union is joining the United Nations in using the Ethereum Blockchain to provide transparent help to refugees. Details of the latest meeting of the European Parliament this week show its dedicated distributed ledger (DLT) taskforce set up earlier this year has already spent half its €850,000 ($1 mln) budget. Dubbed the ‘Horizontal Task Force on Distributed Ledger Technology,’ a use case defined in the EU’s latest documentation relates to refugee aid in addition to DLT research. “One specific use case that ought to be explored is the potential of DLT based solutions for the 10 management of the situation of refugees,” the amendment states. https://t.co/eoaYZ0pg27

The Ethfinex Roadmap : just a slight missed deadline on the beta release, and the UI of the beta is leaving a bit to be desired imho. the jury is definitely still out though. The ethfenix screenshots look pretty nice comparatively. i'm just hoping for a lot of competition in the decentralized exchange marketplace

convenient transaction fees for Ethereum: This is the system IOTA uses. The problem is that because it lacks a feedback loop between 'miner' and network (such as the difficulty adjustment Ethereum and Bitcoin have), there's no way to ensure that the difficulty is sufficient to deter attackers, but not so high as to deter legitimate use.
It also suffers from the issue that attackers may have access to much more computing power than the average user (for instance, by renting a botnet), & so there may not be an equilibrium difficulty that deters attackers but not legitimate users.

How do you synchronize the wallet? I am at a block height just short of 4 mil and it takes about 20 sec and more for 1 block synchronizing which is slower than the blockchain progress. At that rate it will never catch up. (installed 0 9 0 )

If you have a slow Internet connexion and/or an HDD, it's only normal that you're syncing so slowly, especially given that Mist 0.9.0 is also synchronising with Swarm which can take much bandwidth. If you want to run a full node nonetheless, I can only advise you to close Mist, delete all the chaindata already downloaded (whithout deleting your keyfile(s) of course) and relaucnh Mist on --fast mode using cmd.exe (if you're on Windows). Detailed workthrough on Mist official Github page.
