everything below $300 is a good entry...
dont Forget btc has been around $300 for a Long time too...
ethereum is not without reason the #2 cryptocurrerncy.
they always made the right mooves and will continue to do so.
also there are a bunch of whales involved in the Network.
good Things to come for every holder Smiley
There's more than 6 times less Bitcoins than Ethereum though, so you can't exactly compare the two straight up.

The 'problem' is that every time an ATH comes in the news, more people rush into BTC... So as long as the media are promoting BTC, other coins will always be second-rate... So ETH goes up but not in comparison...

I think yes price of ethereum will goes up the reason why it will happen because there is something like the institution that governs the investment in ethereum be called as ethereum Commonwealth right now, Ethereum Commonwealth development update can be seen on this site (Reddit)  https://t.co/1fnronpIsk it will makes the price of ethereum will be more expensive in the future for long term, but it is just my personal analysis and no advice for investment.

Why does Ethereum have to chase bitcoin? These are two different things. I would say it's a long road for other currencies to reach eth results

Shifting and Changing: Ethereum's Casper Code Takes Shape

https://www.coindesk.com/shifting-changing-ethereums-casper-code-takes-shape/

Ethereum's leading effort to reimagine how nodes in a blockchain systems come to agreement is slowly but surely advancing.

At least, that was the message that was front and center at Devcon3, the open-source project's annual technology conference, on Wednesday. The topic of casper – ethereum's much-anticipated version of proof-of-stake consensus – was present during a number of panels at the event.

One of a number of moving parts that need to come together for the project to realize its long-term vision, casper may be among the more important, as it's key to democratizing access to the platform. The perceived necessity of the upgrade was perhaps best put forward by Cornell University researcher Emin Gün Sirer, who argued how proof-of-work – bitcoin's system for keeping its network in sync – has lead to an environment wherein users can no longer participate as envisioned.

Sirer said during the event:

"We're at the mercy of hardware. The technology is out of our hands.".......

Buterin To Devcon3: Sharding Will Boost Ethereum’s Efficiency

https://www.ethnews.com/buterin-to-devcon3-sharding-will-boost-ethereums-efficiency

Ethereum’s founder, Vitalik Buterin, addressed a crowd yesterday at the platform’s annual conference, Devcon, sharing his vision for the blockchain’s near-term future. The centerpiece of the speech was sharding, a process whereby data are partitioned into subsets; in the blockchain context, these smaller data packets can be stored on nodes that would otherwise have to store the entire history of all transactions across the network. .......

Smarter Bug Bounties? Hydra Codes Creative Solution for Ethereum Theft

https://www.coindesk.com/smarter-bug-bounties-hydra-codes-creative-solution-ethereum-theft/

Can the right alignment of incentives encourage better blockchain bug reporting?

That's the goal of Hydra, a new effort funded by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and designed by a team of researchers including Lorenz Breidenbach, Phil Daian and Ari Juels from Cornell, and Florian Tramer from Stanford.

Announced today at ethereum's annual developer conference, Devcon3, the Hydra project is novel in that its contracts aim to automatically and programmatically offer those who report a bug higher rewards than they'd get if they exploited one. In this way, if a user's smart contract hack would result in a reward of 100 tokens, Hydra would pay out 1,000 tokens if he or she reported it instead.

As such, the project offers a potential solution to an incentive problem common in smart contract development. A popular tool for open-source projects, many times payouts simply make the bad behavior more lucrative.

Hydra tweaks the incentives, however, testing how the nascent concept of crypto-economics – simply, the study of cryptocurrency economies – might encourage people to report bugs they identify.

But rather than condemning the actions of bad actors, Daian sees Hydra as a solution that blends pragmatism and smart programming.

Daian said:

"Let's see this as a game. What would a rational attacker do with these systems? Say an attacker finds a bug: would they attack or would they claim the bounty?"

But while many will be excited to start playing around with the system, released in alpha today, Daian stressed that it's still nascent technology that might not be safe for storing funds.

He said, "The code is here for you to play with. But trusting funds with this baby Hydra we've spun up – not good idea.

I believe ETH is different, more adaptable and the price is a bargain. Ok the price of BTC ir higher because of number of coins disponible, but the ETH has a great future, just wait.

Fundamentaly ethereum  should rise in long term,
but in short and even mid term there is high selling pressure  due to for example  mentioned ICO ethereum monetization and increased eth from mining.

I am looking for signature campaign Wink pm me
