So Ethereum is getting ready to take the first place in Bitcoin's MarketCap? It will be a very good flipping to see, but if ETH fails now, you will hardly have another chance! Blockchain's usage is spreading steadily and until it will need to handle larger transactions on permanent basis, more solid solution will be found out. Well you are right many huge projects ico raised funds through ethereum when they pay for listings or other payments then they dump the price of eth.
But how long will this happen? Eventually ethereum price will be rise in near future and other projects will not able to dump the value of eth.

Ethereum has entered a new adjustment cycle, and this adjustment target will be around $488. I have already prepared some USDT to wait for this price to buy.

I don't think it will go below $500. There will just be too many people jumping in to use the opportunity and get a good entry point.

You never know what the goals of the big guys in this game are. If they want to see the price go below $500, they will make it happen.

For now that is still the case I guess but I think that will also change even more in the future. People can easily access the markets and purchase cryptos they like, which means less control in the hands of a few.

What you describe is the essence of Ethereum to a certain degree. Once the decentralized applications start to function the demand will increase significantly. To accommodate that demand the price will increase.

The amount they raised can't really be justified I agree. Maybe though they have an angle and they are much more scaled from the beginning. Doesn't automatically make them a viable alternative in the long run.

Yup slowly, coins moves on their own blockchain. Coins wants to be independent of BTC. So they each coin will have their own market value. Coins will no longer be drag down by btc when btc  goes down. This is quite clearly what is happening now. I notice this because like ethereum, litecoin and ripple are starting to have an exchange directly to fiat money. In my country you could already exchange ethereum to our fiat money directly. Quite cool right. No need to convert first to btc before ethereum. Direct exchange from eth to fiat.
