We have been waiting for Ethereum upgrades for years but the team only reveal some ideas and unclear plans. Why they do not update the exact timeline in the roadmap??
Casper, Sharding, Plasma & FFG.. Please give us the exact time!!

Someone with a bit more technical knowledge than me should make a contribution that shows the relatively small profits of ASIC miners over GPU miners under Ethash, and that the algorithm is basically successful in what it was developed for. This community is unreasonably wierd about this problem and forking will throw the real solution-PoS-back.

Guys, is Raiden network still a thing or it was just vaporware?  I say this because Vitalik never mention it and he only endorse Plasma as a second layer scalability solution

Announcing Swarm Proof-of-Concept Release 3

https://blog.ethereum.org/2018/06/21/announcing-swarm-proof-of-concept-release-3/

The Swarm Team is pleased to announce the immediate release of Swarm client v0.3, the third proof-of-concept release (POC3) of the Ethereum Swarm client. The POC3 code is now merged into the official go-ethereum repository’s master branch.

Swarm 0.3 has been deployed to the public Testnet, and the Ethereum Foundation is running a 50-node strong cluster of Swarm nodes together with a public web gateway on https://swarm-gateways.net. We welcome everyone to try it out or commit to operate stable nodes.

Just be patient my friend due to updating on ethereum's blockchain to be more better is not easy due to many decentralize application dapps run on ethereum's blockchain, the developer of team must think the most safe  way to make updating on ethereum's blockchain
We won't the ethereum's network goes down.
I don't know what is decentralize in your mind but with 21 block producers EOS is decentralize platform, although it is too early for saying that due to as you said EOS blockchain is experimental and still there are no good signal for EOS to be sucessfull as platform of decentralize application dapps or smart contract, i will wait for this what will happen to them and i don't want make more speculation about the EOS.
21 block producers for a global platform is considered decentralized?
Do you know how much the people who has control cryptocurrencies network? Less than 21, you can learn more about it and compare with other cryptocurrencies.

Ethereum is working on the idea of adopting Casper technology, which will raise the demand for miners later, but ETH miners do not have to worry too much.

Huh if ethereum will go full PoS, eth miners will just move on to other ethash chains like ethereum classic, expanse, ubiq and so on. More likely on ethereum classic

We don't need to think about ethereum that ethereum will be rock in near future but we will have to HODL and wait with patience.
Ethereum will definitely cross the limits in future like last year, as we can see a lot of positive news coming rapidly.
We will be see ethereum at top very soon but some fuDDing news trying to fall the price of ethereum.  Roll Eyes

Hubii announced their scaling solution Striim.

https://github.com/hubiinetwork/striim-contracts/releases/download/untagged-4be99c26763bff520dad/striim.White.Paper.v1.0.pdf

At the end of the whitepaper there's an interesting comparison of striim with plasma and raiden.

40 smart contracts, 7,200 lines of code, but really 18,700 lines of code for tests. Ratio of 2.6.

Striim will be airdropped every month to HBT token holders.

Hoping there is price resistance from ETH, I'm tired of seeing ETH prices depend on BTC prices, it's time when BTC price go downl I expect ETH price keeps rising.

here is aura's primary competitor on the ethereum blockchain there is also bancor and a few others but fuel is launching about the same time as aura but has to compete with other ethereum blockchains

they set their price at over $49,000
https://medium.com/@etherparty/etherparty-announces-rocket-price-and-pricing-strategy-24d4ce128292

they did this because they are competing with other ethereum tokens which currently cost about 5 ethereum which is $2,500 or more and then they are offering the ico crowdfunding platform and everything and probably a few different kinds of smart contracts so they set it at nearly $50,000 because companies that do all that stuff for you with no platform for you to do it on yourself charge about that much if not more

aura has 1 main competitor

aura is a standalone blockchain separate from ethereum with a very small community of current users there is a similar coin that is kind of a standalone blockchain but it is a fork of etheruem meaning that it branched off of ethereum at a certain block so everyone that had ethereum at that block also had some expanse exp because it forked from the ethereum blockchain this gave them the small advantage over aura of being able to go to ethereum users and say "if you create an expanse wallet you will already have some in there if you had an ethereum wallet" just like bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold, etc
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173722.0

they are creating something called tokenlab
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2153185.0

and while everyone seems to be focused on what exchange aura and expanse and the tokenlab token are on I do not think that those things are as important as the fact that we will be creating networks of coins soon and daos

daos are decentralized autonomous organizations so that your tokens operate like a stock and you are a shareholder in an organization that is based on a smart contract that you get to do things with and you can also have your own token that you trade with other dao users and aura users and token creators there are going to be people using aura that have no idea what a dao is this is going to get huge

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/

It is already crossed 100M few days ago there is no limit at this point maybe in future they will decide to make it limited. I don't see this happening in near future because of complicated process so they will continue with current way until solid solution will come.

The development of Ethereum is going through a new metamorphosis. DAICO, Casper, fragmentation and so on are trying to change new technologies. These are all worth looking forward to.

Even through a meta-morphosis, the ethereum seems to always depend on the BTC in relation to the prices, is it that the meta-morphosis will help to get out of this dependence?

When I mention it seems, and due to the market, if the BTC falls the ETH also falls, and if BTC rises the ETH also rises

Now what is the cause of this fall in crypto market? There are enough fuDDing news about Ethereum and Bitcoin.
Like china police seize 200 Bitcoin and Ethereum mining rig because someone using electricity illegally.
I just want to get rid of these kind of news that dropping the price of Ethereum and Bitcoin, waiting for positive news about crypto market.  Smiley

ETH is now in a state of impasse. ETH is now in the process of linking bitcoin, without its own independent market. ETH should still have room for a fall. It is possible to bottom out the low price in March.
