Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin comes up with seven difficult questions for the cryptoverse

Vitalik Buterin asked

1. “Bitmain and affiliated pools now have ~53% of all bitcoin hashpower. Isn't this a really big problem?”
2. "Why aren't there any useful large-scale applications yet?"
3. "Why are there not yet good solutions to account security? When will the problem of account hacks and thefts be solved?"
4. "How can decentralized apps work well even with 5-10 second blockchain latency?"
5. "PoW is burning billions of dollars per year, even more than all scams and thefts combined, Isn't this a big tragedy?"
6. "What are the centralization risks in proof of stake?"
7. "Given how EOS governance has turned into an epic fail, doesn't this mean that all on-chain governance including DAOs is fundamentally flawed? How can any DAO deal with bribe attacks, plutocrats and other risks?"

If you have the answers to Vitalik Buterin's questions, drop your views at pinaz.kazi@bcfocus.com.
Top ten answers will be sent to Vitalik Buterin.

Very smart quesitons from Vitalik.
These ones are real challenges for Bitcoin team and Bitcoin network at the current phase of crypto ecosystem.
Bitcoin have to find a way to solve them if don't want to lose its leading role in crypto world.

Agree, like Ethereum there are many people working for Bitcoin in the background but today they didn't come up with a solution but in future, there is a possibility for Bitcoin to dominance again. Ethereum is the second dominance currency after the Bitcoin every time.

Another positive news - Opera Adds Ethereum Support to Its Mobile Browser

Opera became the very first mainstream browser to implement native cryptocurrency and Ethereum Web 3.0 functionality on Wednesday. The company added support for digital currencies and blockchain interaction to the closed-beta edition of its Android app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opera.browser.

Opera’s built-in wallet currently supports ETH and ERC20 tokens completely, which means that users wishing to join their beta will be able to store most assets based on Ethereum instantly. Fungible (ERC721) tokens, such as CryptoKitties, are limited in support – as of now CryptoKitties is one of the few ERC721 assets Opera supports.

Opera’s entry into cryptocurrency might truly bring mass adoption in the coming future. It is one of the most popular apps on Google’s Play Store, having over 100 million downloads – not including its reach in other countries such as China. Opera’s decentralized web support makes it a direct alternative to existing Web 3.0 browsers on mobile devices, like Status.im and Coinbase’s Toshi browser.

https://chainstate.org/2018/07/11/opera-implements-ethereum-support-into-its-browser/
Hello, can you give me more information? I downloaded the application and can not figure out what to do next.

Looks like the Ethereum network is under attack AGAIN.
This time by EOS.

Good afternoon. In any case, Ether, you need to buy now while the price is good and sell at least $ 1000. I wish everyone success.

Whether one agree or not those questions raised by vitalik are reality and bitter and not everyone will digest them. I remember the hype about EOS to replace the Ethereum and some people were really concerned about it. They reached to their ending even without having start. Scaling and saving money is the hottest topic and Ethereum is still ahead of many projects in spite of existed issues.

An excellent video gives an understanding of what the team's plans are lately I'm a little upset by the price of the transaction, but if they are working on this or that, then you can close your eyes to it. Problems have always been the main development continues.

There is no immediate solution for scaling of transactions if one claims they just hype their projects. Vitalik has given years based plan to implement the scaling solutions without hyping anything. This is appreciable I didn't watch the video provided above yet so on that I will not comment till I don't watch what actually was spoken there.

After they deliberately clog the ethereum network with useless transactions?
They will not get away with this behaviour.
EOS is doomed.

30 minutes ago the safe gwei was 130. Now it's 10. What the heck.

A distributed system attempts to access an API data source, but since the nodes need not execute the instructions simultaneously, the data provided by the API can yield different results. Hence you need to build some kind of time to API value lookup table; formally called oracle.

I really hate situation at this time Sad. So hard for make transaction with over 100 gwei with myetherwallet.

This happening due to big traffic and it becoming hard to process large amount of transaction and people are in hurry to make their transaction get confirmed without and putting high fees to make the situation more worse. I hope we will have solution and it will back to normal mode.

There's rumors it's either fcoin or EOS.
