What caused the price drop compared to BTC. On July 17th it was over 0.07btc and now just 3 days later it is 0.062btc. That's more then 10%. USD comparison is not what I look at.

A lots of ICOs is scam that effect ethereum price ,   i  think ethereum will replace original bitcoin very soon

this is why I am supporting ETC & CLO, cause, they will develop DAPs instead of scammy ICOs

ethereum and bitcoin are 2 different things.
I think ethereum have done a really great job in the last few years/months.
But I am using the waves platform. "POS" is the future in my opinion! we just have limited resources and the ideology of the crypto community is to create a sustainable international network for the uniform human kind.
The DEX involved in your wallet is a innovation and offer a great accommodation for especially new users!
waves is optimized for the main stream mass adoption imo.

companies already see the bright future of the waves ecosystem ahead and changing the chain:

https://twitter.com/blockscart/status/1019322166368665600

The redistribution has started, if the smart contracts go live on the main net, hundrets of projects will migrate to waves, the DEX volume will explode and attract huge attention because billions and billions will flow in the waves ecosystem in the next few years imo.

Best wishes!

I will do absolutely agree that it was Ethereum which brought the whole crypto industry to this level. Bitcoin opened way for something new economy but Ethereum took the idea to tokenization even there were lot of scams which directly don't have to do anything with Ethereum. That is true competition is becoming hard inside new type of token economy but developers here are fully aware of the needs of market.

Just remember bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies, if price of bitcoin goes up the alternative coins goes down, if price of bitcoin goes down the alternative coins goes down and if price of bitcoin is stable the alternative coins goes up. That's patern of trading alternative coins Cheesy believe in it or not, you can make your own analysis of the market.

The ethereum price increase slower than the original bitcoin ,  Huh , i  think eth will  $1000 end this month soon

Just don't spread with the days, just check the market how the Bitcoin price is kept increasing, once Bitcoin starts rolling we can able to see the is a huge change in terms of ETH. This year ETH will cross the value of previous year ETH price.
I`m tired of speculating Altcoin prices Why?  because eventually that price will be reach and it will surpass your prediction but i guess its gonna take more time since we are still in the bear market so they say.

Nobody knows whether we are or not. This first uptick seemed to have some power but now died a little bit.
Just be relax buddy about the ethereum's price it will increase again due to yesterday the bitcoin's price had been breaked out and it will be followed by another alternative coins including the ethereum's price, so just be patient and wait for couples months laters let's be patient up to ends of year and we will see all of cryptocurrencies price to be green.

I am totally relaxed, not panicking at all. I was rather saying that we not be out of shallow waters yet and it could take some more time.
right now paitence is everything
anyone who's holding eth coins will take max profit in future because like bitcoin break through its 6.3K $ to 7.4K $ eth will also do the same but needs more time
right now people selling eth and buying bitcoin that's why eth price is going little low but my point of view eth will soon gonna hit 1K$

Yes, we always need some patience for making profits through ETH because like Bitcoin, ETH price will also increase but we don't don't know when and how long it will take to reach more than 1000$.

I hold 3 and a half ether and saddly it seems that I will have to sell them now cause I have bills to pay, very bad time to sell eth but what can I do. What do you think, will it ever be possible to pay your bills directly with ether? That would be very sexy.

Lots of eth getting locked in fomo3d, already 15k+ almost all of which in the last 24h. At this stage, once the pot gets really big someone might consider doing a 51% attack on ethereum to steal it.

I was assuming that some US states are accepting crypto for paying bills? I don't remember which one and if you can use other crypto along with bitcoin.
Maybe try to research here https://www.google.it/search?ei=IQpTW5jULIX06ASYrqmABw&q=ethereum+bill+pay+usa&oq=ethereum+bill+pay+usa&gs_l=psy-ab.12...7402.8490.0.10544.8.8.0.0.0.0.151.597.0j5.5.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..4.1.131...0i8i7i30k1j0i7i5i30k1.0.fyYeA3D32CY

It depend on the location in some parts of the Europe it is possible to pay utility bills using ETH via 3rd party service. If you are asking this to get service from ETH directly than I don't think it is possible in future too. Some people already working on this concept to bring dapps to make it flexible for all to make it more useful in all fields of life.

What do you mean? The attacker would just focus on new key purchases for 24h and invalidate those txs only.

You still need to get 51% of the hashrate for that. And the hashrate is 215TH/s every second, 24H a day. I don't think one can choose the tx to hash for.

For half a billion dollar worth of eth, one could find a way, or at least give it a go.

I don't think you understand the magnitude of what you're talking about. It's possible, but far far down on the scale of likelihood.

Now it is interesting to see such a price for gas. Now it's just a pleasure to make translations. Smiley

I wonder what price you see in the future with the growth of Eth?  Cry

Hi, I think after a while the transaction will either be canceled (I'm not sure that it will be so), or it will be confirmed, the accelerators on the ETH I have never met (as I once did, I did not find it)
