This is very strange and surprising move what happened today where TA analysis went wrong. Ethereum was looking very strong and ready to take off to break the $300 psychological barrier but suddenly market which was looking calm and stable reversed. General perception which is being given now is portraiting Ethereum's end but I don't think this is going to happen.

It seems to me that the growth of Ethereum we just can not wait. This is what the crazy market, Many only sell at face value and buy not concerned and the price goes only down.. bitcoin fell in price not so much as Ethereum. Apparently, the trust in this coin fell very much, and it is hardly worth waiting for the growth in the near future

My friend sold his ico tokens for Ethereum and went abroad, to visit his relatives. Now he came back and found his money cut for 40% in few month. I told him to use Bitcoin or Tether for this, but he was lazy to convert ETH to other assets.
What would you recommend him to do, convert this amount to Bitcoin and forget about ETH price recovering?
Because there is a sad speculations about continuing ETH downtrend up to 100$ per token.
Just my opinion: I don't think the price will go below $200 but I would definitely keep a stop-loss at my investment. Everything is possible in crypto we can see ETH below $200 I don't think anybody can give guarantee mostly people have to act like robot especially in trading. Yea I guess I was wrong big time. All it needed was one bitcoin crash and price of ETH fell crumbling down (trading at $228 ). |

Your friend is the reason why all these ICOs, Ethereum and Bitcoin are dropping due to panic sells like this. People sell their ICO for ETH. And then that ETH gets sold for Bitcoin. And that Bitcoin gets sold for US Dollars. The issue is that most people had it enough when their ICO is close to 90% loss and they just want what is left of their money and they all panic and sell at the same time, in a market which is already out of willing buyers. |

We have seen similar situation for BTC few years ago when after each dips that was declared finished. Now things have changed a lot and market makers go against the sentiment of market. Ethereum will make come back because no one would want to finish a money making machine. Hard part is that no one can tell surely when but it is still in the game.

This is first real stress testing in Ethereum is happening with all these corrections in its price. It is not easy for anyone to face this but holding or leaving one option is available. Everyone is disturbed because I know few people who used Ethereum as hedge against bitcoin. Go big or go home and fight or leave this is left now.
