Why does the price drop so much? Can someone tell me that? IS THIS THE END?  Ignore the price. If you have been holding since 1400, its down 85%, so only 15% left to lose. No point in selling then. |

I just have a hard time believing that Ethereum just dropped from 400 to less than 200 in a little over a month and I thought $400 was low compared to the all time high. I know this stuff volatile but I just cannot believe there are 7 billion people in this world and I read an article 79% people know about Cryptocurrency, Eth is the 2nd biggest without a question in marketcap, and several months later there is still more selling. Yet the bullish news is mindboggling to me about BAKKT to set up institutional, IRA and 401K investment and Trump hiring Pro-cryptocurrency SEC commissoner for the commissioner ratio now to more likely favor an ETF approval. I heard institutional money has up to $30 trillion dollars. When Goldman Sachs postpones the average top 100 coins crash about 20% yet I doubt the market didn't go up 20% on average when Goldman Sachs started his trading desk.

Your prediction is very soon as well. Let's just wait for them to see if there's an issue regarding the network. With regards to price, I am realy surprised with its current value today but if we take a look on the market all coins are in red anf I just can't believe that ETH didn't hold still in $200 mark. |

I sense weak hands.  i want to be weak hands when it was $1200 We have the same idea but i got stuck and hold on to my ETH, will it drop beyond 100 USD? if it does i`ll sell all of my altcoin that has a value and buy ETH instead. |

All the same summer for the markets was dead. Let's see what the fall will give us, I think there will be some revival in the market.
Well there are now more and more voices claiming that fall will repeat the pattern from last year, but I doubt that a lot. If that was the case then it would maybe start to rise slowly very soon and not out of a sudden in fall. 1 year cicle is too short, i think we will se a true alt season until 2020 with the bitcoin halving, about Ethereum i think the 2 reward per block is a good idea, it would be intersting when if this becomes a POS coin It's not about the technical aspect I guess, it's about the adoption. People will use crypto because it's getting popular now, the adoption is increasing but whales do not want the progress to reflect on the price so they manipulate it hard. Don't forget the present fiat currency crisis in the emerging markets. in fact there is presently a powerful tide towards usd, returning from periphery. however usd could be the next victim, being very fragile in itself. i agree with a powerful wave toward cryptos, beginning soon. People will NOT use it because it's getting popular. They will buy it because it's getting popular. So far it is still more convenient to use credit and debit cards than crypto. Those using crypto do it because they want to put it to the test and help with adoption, but that is only for crypto evangelists. To have the masses use it on a daily basis, a lot of things have to happen first. The ecosystem is certainly being built for crypto-adoption. The issue with many of the notable projects in my opinion is that they focus on solving crypto related issues rather than real world issues. Supporters and financial backers tend to gravitate more to these platforms unfortunately. But there's select few projects I am watching now who will incorporate crypto into the daily lives of many in a hassle free way. This is true, I feel the same way. As long as these projects try to tackle problems that only exist in the crypto world, mass adoption just won't happen. |

Relatively sophisticated investors may be selling eth to obtain more bbc because they know it will rebound, however investors like the original qquestioer who invested because they were told they can make some quick money are panic selling because they do not have a clue what is going on and are watching their money evaporate - the ethereum downward spiral was fuelled by over promising and under delivering its scaling solutions, this creates lack of confidence and the house of cards starts to tumble. |

"Good news" in a bear market will not help the price - bad news in a bear market will only panic the already panic stricken even further .. Ethereums godhead being quoted or misquoted that etfereum is going to zero is like pouring gasoline on an already raging fire, so the eth plankton will all be a nice meal for the whales |

LOL, how long before ETH goes in negative!! I know that whole market is affected but ETH is being affected the most % wise. I personally feel it is due to these fomo3d like games where few people are getting thousands of ETH and then they are dumping it on market. And maybe even some ICOs. Do you think there can be any other reason?

In other words, people are selling eth for bitcoin (on exchanges without fiat withdrawals like Polo, Binance, etc.) then cashing out on other exchanges. So the last drops of bitcoin are due to the eth crash! If the leaders of the project say that it can go to zero, then nobody will believe in it any more. A huge mistake!
