Ethereum is not going down on the USD pair. It is going down on the bitcoin pair and that was expected for every altcoin. This always happens when bitcoin goes parabolic. People always want more bitcoin than altcoins in the end of the day. Altcoins are a vehicle to get more bitcoin.

ETH will probably surpass $200 in a matter of hours - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/ and I cannot understand why the second biggest crypto in the market will go down while others are beginning to feel the effects of bull run that is currently going on? Also, I think ETH has its own strengths as a crypto making it a top contender in crypto dominance.

Because it's not automatic, price movement depends on the traders and investors action, maybe at this time they love to trade other altcoins but we can never loss on our faith in ETH as like you said, it's the number 2 in the market, so it will certainly rise.

Yup! Too many people just expect pairs to rise when btc pumps. It's not a given: traders make the market move.

ATH of ETH was around 1400 usd in January 2018. So in this time price can rich 2k usd or even more? May be this is realistic when institutional investors will come in crypto. Cap of crypto should be more than 1 trillion in anyway on this bullrun...

Everyone is expecting the current trend of the market is going to be bull run, see sudden growth will not help us to make more money but we should be very careful with the market prices because last time we couldn't accumulate the profit due to high expectations. Is there any good alternative to MetaMask for Windows PCs?
I updated my Ethereum Ledger Nano S app yesterday and MetaMask stopped working properly. I did a full reset and even removed the plugin and re-installed it, but now it won't even connect.

Whenever I select the "connect hardware wallet" option, I get stuck on the first screen. There are a bunch of errors in the console log and that's it, nothing happens.
I'm just tired of MetaMask overall, is there anything else I can use for Ethereum?

Having monitored the continuous market moves after some other markets now Ethereum broke some key level resistance shows that alt season is about to kick off finally. Once again ETH will be on leading position for alternative markets to follow its foot print. I am using mycrypto on desktop which support hardware wallets as well different formats@RivAngE. It is working for me and I am pleased with it.

I like ETH, I have some, but if you're looking for fast payement transactions on the blockchain, then have a look at turtlecoin.

I think people buy ETH not about fast transactions but about dev, technology anf community. Maybe next years ETH can go new ATH following trend up BTC.

Price is still cheap, down from $1300 ATH, so if we will be able to come back at that price, that's instant x10 profit.
However, you might want to take advantage it on short term, a possible 100% return is easy at this movement it's showing now,
