When will we see some real activity and live updates on ETH blockchain? Any news about that?

Unfortunately, there's still none. I'm only relying to the known news websites for latest updates.  

We are here like confusion with the policy steps of the next ETH, for the time being the best decision is to wait until early next year to start for the changes and updates needed.

It would have been nice for the official ETH team to at least post regular real updates here in this forum rather than just on their Twitter

Yes. It's probably what ETH really needs right now. The interest of the people for the update/upgrade is being talked right now and once its launch becomes successful, we might see ETH to increase again hopefully.

He is not the only one, many teams have stopped posting here and are more interested in updating on their social media platforms probably to showcase the number of followers they have.

They should have posted updates here too as the forum has a massive user base.

I hope after Ethereum  2.0 (moving to PoS) we can see some grow of ETH. But they should find some another usecase of ETH coins, because ICO is not popular anymore

Gaming / collectibles is another usecase, It's not that popular though now, It might in future. ETH moving to PoS should generate some traction for huge price movement.

I hope after Ethereum  2.0 (moving to PoS) we can see some grow of ETH. But they should find some another usecase of ETH coins, because ICO is not popular anymore

Gaming / collectibles is another usecase, It's not that popular though now, It might in future. ETH moving to PoS should generate some traction for huge price movement.

There are a lot of concerns about that changes into current network model when it will switch to POS mode but it is not easy with ongoing structure. I don't think this could boost the growth of ETH but this year will bring more adoption as the awareness about blockchain is increasing rapidly.

I share your  views as well, the market has been very quiet and one sided - thanks to btc,  that it feels alts are almost forgotten,  I hope with the upcoming eth upgrade there will be some green movement in market,  everyone is looking forward to this day, let's see what 2020 will  bring.

Not only sending eth to eth (tx fee - gas), but hitting 10k$ sending tokens out of your eth address will cost a fortune

I would very much love to see Ethereum back to the 1K range but right now we can only hope that it one day surprises us again... but to think that it's Marketcap will surpass that of bitcoin is a whole new level of Delusion.
