Unfortunately, I have some ERC20 tokens that I would like to sell and the fee is absurd, most of the time the Swap is more expensive than the total value of the tokens. Is there any way to convert the ERC20 into BEP20 or another protocol, is there any such service?
You have no choice now. Accept expensive cost from swap, transaction fee or simply hold those tokens. Wait for any upgrade from Ethereum that can reduce transaction fee on its network very considerably. If your problem is low value of your tokens, and if you swap them, transaction fee will eat up all the value, the best choice is hold them and hope that they will rise up in value as well as transaction fee on Ethereum network will fall down. Or they will be deployed, bridged to other chains with cheaper transaction fee. Ethereums #1 scaling solution goes live today. 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 Metisdao mainnet launch is hours away. 👏👏👏👏👏

I don't think it will be possible because most of the tokens stored are old smart contracts

For much of our industry’s existence, PoW and its negative perceptions around energy consumption have dominated popular media. Ethereum will be the largest protocol ever to hot swap its consensus mechanism, and in turn, hopefully change the narrative."

Since the activation of the London update on the Ethereum network, the protocol has withdrawn more than 1 million ETH from circulation, at a cost of more than $ 4.2 billion. That's a great achievement. Over one million Ethereums were burned in last 111 days. Ether has become deflationary because of the London hard fork upgrade implemented by the Ethereum network. With today's exchange rate, more than $ 3.8 billion worth of ethereum has been burnt since then.

Vitalik Buterin proposed a method to reduce the cost of transactions in L2 for EthereumRollups are in the short and medium term, and possibly the long term, the only trustless scaling solution for Ethereum. Transaction fees on L1 have been very high for months and there is greater urgency in doing anything required to help facilitate an ecosystem-wide move to rollups. Rollups are already significantly reducing fees for many Ethereum users: l2fees.info frequently shows Optimism and Arbitrum providing fees that are ~3-8x lower than the Ethereum base layer itself, and ZK rollups, which have better data compression and can avoid including signatures, have fees ~40-100x lower than the base layer. - Optimistic and ZK rollups under sharding - Who would store historical data under sharding? https://notes.ethereum.org/@vbuterin/data_sharding_roadmap

Gary Gensler: “In my opinion, Ethereum passed the Howey Test and that means that it would be considered a security.” https://twitter.com/BTCGandalf/status/1466159935843094531------------ If SEC declares ETH as a security, US exchanges (Coinbase, Kraken and others) will have to delist it, since it is not a registered security which must be traded on regulated exchanges. And the switch to POS will only worsen SEC's attitude.

I do not disagree, but I don't think ETH realistic to think that regulators will make a move on the foundation or ETH exchange listings, whatever happens, the rules are updated after it happened.

ETH 2.0 development guide presented by Vitalik, the co-founder of Ethereum. He has definite his arrangements to elevate the upcoming ETH 2.0 upgrade. Anyway, He's been saying this beginning around 2016, might be 2022 is finish year!
It won't ever quit upgrading. After 2.0 possible 3.0? New features arrive, I'm almost certain it's not the finish of the story! Just HODL!

ETC will pick up the pieces :-D ETH ded<=== Is that a sarcastic comment? Anyway, the other day I did an ETH tx from my MEW as the gas fee was relatively low like about $5, that is if you are transferring ETH only. But for other tokens, I believe, it is still high. Hoping that one day, we will finally see cheaper gas fees because this is all what we have been waiting for. Though their developments seem slow but we know for sure, they are doing something behind the curtain. This is why people still trust on this project.

ETH tx fee is still killing, it will be getting lower to at least around only 60 gwei and will change every second. I have ever transferred the ERC20 token for around $24 a month ago, have tried to wait for a lower fee but this seems to be a lower fee during some days at that time. Higher amount, higher fees Well, so far, transaction fees still become one of the main problems faced by the Ethereum network.
