I do not agree with this opinion. Bitcoin is an excellent and the best investment in the long-term period. The strongest crypto currency in the world yet, to my opinion, has not shown the fourth part of its potential.

For the records, those that sold their bitcoin early are all regreting it now, because they never thought that the price will hit the present price.
So for you not to regret later over seling your bitcoin, you need to hold it for long time.

For the records, those that sold their bitcoin early are all regreting it now, because they never thought that the price will hit the present price.
So for you not to regret later over seling your bitcoin, you need to hold it for long time.
I agree, look at the price of bitcoin since it was created, a huge increase since its first price in the market and even it drops now I am sure it will recover again soon. |

Suppose it all goes down to what you mean by long time, if you mean a year or two then holdings not a great plan, but if you are talking 10 years or so then holding Bitcoin is a very good idea. In 10 years we will see much much higher prices than now so you would make a lot holding for that time period
I know that Bitcoin has achieved many times over the years, so it was very little known before about Bitcoin, but now it seems to me that most people know Bitcoin. So it is still possible? |

Yap, Holding Altcoins will gives us more profit than holding bitcoin. But I believe holding Altcoins is much risky than bitcoin. We have to always be alert with market. If someone have more knowledge and time for trading, more profit can be earned. And also there are best Altcoins for long term holding also.

Hold is Bitcoin for long time, there is no much profit. You know why ?
Because if you only hold Bitcoin your balance will grow up only on USD rate. For example you hold 1 BTC . Current price 7500$. It's might 10k after some day. But you still have only 1 BTC.
Now think you have 1 btc and you convert it into BCH. Example for 1 BTC you get 10 BCH. Rate per bch is 0.1 BTC .
After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.
But before buy alt coin please select best coin to avoid dump.
So what you think. Hold alt coin or Bitcoin ?

If you are full of information about the future of BTC. Then you can hold the existing BTC. BTC will be a hard currency like gold in the future. If you are an investor. Want to get more profit. You can earn more profit differentials through trading.
If you really know the full information about future of bitcoin you probably hold your bitcoin in the future which the price of bitcoin is totally expensive and that date it will consider as legal currency. Furthermore, holding bitcoin for a long time is a good idea and not a bad idea simply because of the price and we all know that the price of bitcoin will really pump up in the near future. |

I do not agree with the fact that it is not worth keeping a bitcoin for a long time, everyone has their own opinion on this. The fact is that people have their strategies in red. If you reinvested your bitcoin in 2018, you would lose most of your money, because all the coins fell much more than bitcoin.

i think we can hold a little bitcoin and altcoin, when you recieve them, you can buy or hold by yourself, with bitcoin, it have so much price, so wen can buy when it go up and buy when the price down; with altcoin we can sell immediately they have a good price.

Well for now the price is important so it's definitely matter, if you can increase your bitcoin then it's even better as you'll get more if you exchange it to fiat but you shouldn't force it if you can't trade. I agree that you shouldn't hold it for too long because you may miss the selling opportunity like the one happen at December. You can hold, sell it when there's opportunity and buyback later.

The truth is, Bitcoin just like any other coin should not be held onto for long period. The best you can do is to day trade with the coins you have. think day trading is better over hodling. Hence, hodling bitcoin for longis not long at all.

Personally, I prefer to keep bitcoin in my Ledger. I have never been lucky in trading, so I'll just accumulate it and wait for a good price. So I'll make sure I don't lose anything stupid.
