TwentySeventy about to get dox for his involvement in the xxxprofit scam. I would stay away from anything this guy does. Cannot be trusted and is involved in scams.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Havelock will be told about this. Hopefully BDD will be halted to stop further people getting scammed.

Period 2, Day 6 Report

Balance Post Divs: BTC 243.34002984

Total Units: 1293

NAV/U: BTC 0.18819801

If anyone would like more information listed on these daily reports, please let me know. I feel that the reports don't need to be as detailed as DMS' since all EXCH are exchanged for MINE and SELL and all fund reserves are kept liquid.

I've also been in touch with Havelock regarding a 'succession plan' in the case of my unplanned absence (such as an accident, etc) or other event that may put me out of contact for a prolonged period. This week, I will be providing them with all of the instructions necessary to perform the fund maintenance in my absence, which they have agreed to do.

I hope this assuages the concerns about the fund's status in case of some development of this sort. I reiterate, however, that I'm here for the long term and do not have any reason to be absent from the forums or the fund for any prolonged period of time. Thanks, guys-

Any progress on auto-exchange EXCH -> MINE/SELL?

I wasn't going to mention anything until it's done, but Havelock is working on it now. I've let them know that it is a 'most-requested' feature, understandably. I haven't been given a specific timeframe, but I'm hoping to have it done before the end of the month.  Smiley

There's another feature request for Havelock which I would be interested in - but I understand if it's not possible.

Up until now I'd been using the difference between the total book value and total market value in Havelock's Account Overview to give me a rough guide as to how well or badly I was choosing my investments.

When you buy back B.EXCH and transfer B.MINE and B.SELL, the B.EXCH disappears from my portfolio (obviously) and the B.MINE and B.SELL come in with zero book value making it look - from those simple totals - like I've spent less on investments than I have.

Is there any way that B.MINE and B.SELL could be transferred in with a book value?

Hmm, I see what you're saying. I'll see if they have any ideas - the real issue is that they would have to know the price for which you acquired MINE (for example) - and if you did this, it would have to subtract the price for which you sold SELL from the price which you bought EXCH.

And if you buy EXCH and get MINE + SELL, it's simply not possible to show any book value, because the process of discovering the true value of the assets is the whole purpose of BDD.

This.

Though it would be possible to give the transfer a value corresponding to the current average between bid and ask, just to give an indication.

Two suggestions:

First, you have a report (thank you!) for Period 2 Day 4 on February 8, and also another Perod 2 Day 4 on February 9.  If this is a typo, please edit.

Second, it irks me that my investment in your fund is priced by Havelock with 4 significant digits on the Accounts tab.  On their Browse Funds tab, the much more accurate 8 significant digits are given.  Could you please work with Havelock to increase the number of significant digits in their price reporting to a uniform 8 digits, at least for your 3 funds?  It would save your investors some time and hassle constantly using two pages when one can do the job with minimal marginal cost to Havelock.    I have called them three times over the past 6 weeks with this suggestion myself, and nothing has been done about this issue.  You correctly emphasize the importance of accurately calculating all the per-share data items in your own reporting, and then Havelock introduces error just because they won't improve their own price report accuracy.  Many thanks!

Apologies, the day numbers listed were off for the last 2/3 days - I was copying the post and forgot to change one day, which led to the next two or so being off. I've got it listed out on my spreadsheet now, so this shouldn't be an issue in the future.

I'll raise the suggestion with Havelock, but I do want to stress that I'm just the issuer here. They may not want to change significant underlying code on the site for this fund, but I'm always willing to ask and propose changes or features to them.

Due to the current ice/snow storm in the Southeast US, there's a chance that I could lose power for a few days, and be unable to perform EXCH / BDD Pair Exchanges and buy-backs. MINE dividends are already scheduled for the next four days, the longest that I can schedule without possibly brushing up against the next Diff adjustment.

Assuming that the cell towers stay up here, I'll do the swaps from my phone for as long as I can. I'm also talking with Havelock to see if I can schedule dividends for EXCH in advance for any shares that haven't been exchanged and are still in the queue. Rest assured that any accrued dividends will be paid out to the shareholders.

Again, all just possibility. Power is still up here and fingers crossed for now-

In the event that twentyseventy is unable to manage the BDD Funds on Havelock for whatever reason, our support staff will handle all Funds activities.

Thank you,

Havelock Investments

twentyseventy how exactly is the payment of B.SELL dividends and the setup of the new price of B.EXCH happening? You already said that you can't lock B.SELL but what about B.EXCH?

Will you close trading on B.EXCH? Or do youe leave up B.EXCH and simply put the lower order up?

Usually, on the day that the SELL dividends are to be paid, I will take down the EXCH ask around 1130 AM. Then, at Noon, the SELL (and new MINE) dividends are paid. Finally, I put up EXCH at the new price.

Once SELL dividends are paid, SELL is immediately worth that much less, so anyone that leaves up SELL bids is going to be sold into very quickly.

Does that answer your question?

Have you been stiffed like everyone else, or is it totally legit like you claimed?  Could you drop by that thread and calm the folks down?
Thx
