I have send email to some companies in the UK to ask them to add Bitpay as a payment option.

Let's start an Operation Bitcoin. All of us send emails to companies to ask them to accept bitcoin. 

I think its quite good idea to promote bitcoin to companies to allow it to use to their product. Using bitcoin in payment is also good which there is no traffic and delay in transaction and you can also check if the transaction is done. I hope the companies that you emailed will reply to your suggestion and they will accept your suggestion.

very good idea, we need to try it. other than that I have a way that I think is better. we can advise our friends who have companies. I am currently doing that to my friend, and now he is studying cryptocurrency and then he will apply it to the company he owns.

Well that will be a good idea for all bitcoin holders. We must admit, not all may have cash but not all who dont have cash do not have bitcoins. Some are holding their bitcoins so they manage of not having too much cash because they are waiting for a better price, so if there will be a lot of businesses accepting bitcoin that will be an advantage.

You are right, going forward BTC should make rules and regulations and wider it's usage. Business tycoons should make plan to give payment & accept payment in bitcoin so that it's popularity will become a loud sound.

This is a great way to promote bitcoin to other companies it can gain a good feedback even they dont accept it for sure they will make a deep research about it and in  that way we already promote bitcoin to an individual.

It is natural for big corporations around the world to accept bitcoin as a form of payment. For example, Dell, MIicrosoft, Starucks ... other businesses will try to imitate it

because that is where bitcoin is well received and it has also been legalized amate that most companies have used bitcoin as a means of payment, but if the state has not legalized bitcoin it will certainly not dare the company use bitcoin as a payment

It's a good idea. I tried t do in my company but in Russia it'not legal or illegal. When I opened btc payment in three days the inspector told me that I must stop using this type of payment

For it is a good idea. If more companies acvept bitcoin because if this happen more benefits that we can get. I think when the time it's happen we are comfortable to hold and invest in bitcoin because many choice in comfortable buying will you have. If more companies will accept bitcoin government will have also an income coming from taxes so they will see and think the bitcoin regularization and legalization. So I hope this will be happen soon because it is a bridge to a more confortable transactions and the key for a better life. There are businesses in asia accept bitcoins as a medium of payment specially in some resort or tourist destination, because it is a very comfortable for their costumers to use  bitcoin than using dollars because  of risk bringing fiat currency. Bitcoin is faster and reliable and no boundaries.

Just for your information: there used to be much more companies actually accepting bitcoin before 2017, and maybe even in 2015, then there are now. It is related to unacceptably high transaction fees in bitcoin in last months of 2017. A lot of companies dropped the support for bitcoin payments then (Steam is the most widely known, but there were many more) and a lot of local merchants dropped the support too, I remember reading the post of some German member who said he can see places accepting bitcoin literally disapearing from Berlin.

So you may write letters all you want. You may even convince them. But the next price move comes, like in last months of 2017, and transaction fees go through the roof again because bitcoin blocks cannot stand the demand of users, and all those new companies you convinced will drop the support for bitcoin again in no time.

What is needed is a fundamental change in bitcoin transaction processing or fee allocation or both. It is not constructive, I know, but I don't have a solution here. But pointing out a problem is the first step, isn't it?

I do not think those companies would even read those emails sent to them in the first place, I think it would take some time before more companies would start to consider accepting bitcoin as a payment option, the most important issue now is to encourage more people to start using bitcoin.

Indeed. because there the government has received bitcoin well, so there have also been a lot of companies and shop stores that want to accept payments through bitcoin, so if possible countries that have not received the bitcoin properly, hopefully they will immediately accept bitcoin

Oh wow, you are correct, I didn't look at the timestamp of the OP. If that is the case, I think that the kudos are  totally earned, especially that as I wrote in my post, in years 2015-17 we had more places accepting bitcoins than we do today.

Indeed we can just send emails to many companies to accept payments with bitcoin. But all that must have a clear basis and analysis. Without using a clear analysis, our email will only be underestimated and will only be considered garbage. Before we submit a request to companies to accept payment with bitcoin then we should review and predict the future of this bitcoin if used as a currency. We must include an accurate rationale so that these companies believe in the potential future of bitcoin. Other than that, I suggest that we start trading with bitcoin. We can do a simple way by paying our workers with bitcoin. Besides that, we can develop our business transactions with crypto currencies. We can make business deals with our business partners to do payment transactions using bitcoin. Maybe it's a simple way that we can do. I am sure that if many people do this simple method, they will form a chain where more people will use bitcoin as a payment tool.

I don't think companies can be easily swayed into having bitcoin as a form of payments on their transaction platforms. Probably if most of their topmost customers come together and make this request and with all financial protocols duly observed then the companies can have this considered and adoption of bitcoin payments can come into full play.

OK, agree with you on this. we should take aggressive action to promote more acceptable bitcoin payments. At present there are many large companies that are applying bitcoin. So I think the proposal to send mail to companies is a good idea. I will do it and expect good things.

As far as I know at the moment many companies and businesses accept bitcoin as payment. Even Elon Musk started protesting Tesla for bitcoins .
