Well bitcoin is the major cryptocurrency for investing into cryptocurrencies such as the numerous altcoins so when bitcoin goes down it is makes almost all altcoins reduce in value. The reduction of bitcoin actually actually crushes several altcoins and you can check this daily on coinmarketcap anytime bitcoin reduces in value.

bitcoin falling consistently affects the altcoin, because with the sharp drop in the market people are selling their btc and how it affects other currencies because they are dependent on the price of btc.

The price of Bitcoin is down certainly will have a bad impact on all Altcoin. And for now, we can feel the impact of the decline in Bitcoin so the price of Ethereum and all Altcoin collapses. Bitcoin has a major impact on altcoins. So if bitcoin increases in the price then all the altcoin too. And similarly, altcoin decreases when the bitcoin decreases too. So dropping bitcoin is definitely bad for altcoin.
