Yes. They almost base on BTC and ETH. And the last factor is the rising of market. Sometimes the success of altcoin can affect to their price.

I think altcoin is dependent on Bitcoin and not dependent on ETH therefore from now on if the price of Bitcoin decreases as now altcoin price will follow its movement, therefore, Bitcoin and Altcoin need each other and always follow the movement

yes Altcoin price is dependent on Bitcoin because bitcoin and Altcoin are equally beneficial then Altcoin always follow the movement of bitcoin so from nowadays many people who hold altcoin and wait for altcoin price to re-profitable again

If I am not mistaken, almost everything is depending on the price of bitcoin. Even if some of it are being invested by a lot of people, its value will still depend on how bitcoins move that is how I understand in the cryptocurrency world. That is why bitcoin is still on the top because of it.

Most of altcoins based on ERC20 price would depends on ETH and i think ETH prices would depends on BTC prices  
Tho a lot of people will disagree with that, i think i must admit it is true.. if we take a look at the price chart and the volatility i think we might agree if BTC is the main factor that determines the market

altcoins derived their value from bitcoin this is becaue when you calculate the satoshi value of an altcoin and multiply it by the usd value of bitcoin, you will see the value of the altcoin in value.

but you should also know the value of an altcoin grows healthily by the value it creates for investors. while unhealthily, it is mostly due to pump and dump groups or just a pump.

any developments that are present will affect the price of the coin so that with the presence of Altcoin which has a growing development is very capable to make Altcoin prices so increased and very able to be reliable in the future.

in my opinion, the price of altcoins including Ethereum depends on bitcoin . if bitcoin goes up, the whole market goes up too

BItcoin are mostly traded against bitcoin and other are in ethereum and that imight be the reason why altcoins are depedent on
 bitcoin and and some of them, in ethereum. But ethereum itself is also dependent on the price of the bitcoin and it is seldom go up without the bitcoin price uptrend. Bitcoin, being the dominant cryptocurrency can easily influence the prices of the altcoins and the whole market.

Price of altcoin depend more on bitcoin to ethereum! Bitcoin is priced against alltcoin including token on top of many altcoin! If you  have bitcoin, you could get any altcoin at lower price when there is bearish sentiment in the market!

Altcoin is currently denominated in bitcoins, usdt and ETH. All the COINS followed bitcoin and Ethereum. But bitcoin is bigger than Ethereum
