Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH??

ALT coin’s value is highly correlated with the increase of BTC and vice-versa. Let’s add the USD to the ratio where ALT/BTC is also ALT/USD / BTC/USD. If people are buying more bitcoins then they are increasing the BTC/USD value. altcoins derived their value from bitcoin this is becaue when you calculate the satoshi value of an altcoin and multiply it by the usd value of bitcoin, you will see the value of the altcoin in value.

Yeah, pretty much everything that's going on with BTC affects alts.
It's all logical, BTC is is the first crypto coin and it holds most of the market so at this moment BTC="crypto market" and if something wrong is happening to it then all of the alts are affected.

Yes, it does. In my analyzation about the bearish trend that has already happened and then either bitcoin or ethereum have been giving a lot of impact to the majority of altcoin right now.
As you can see the majority of altcoins are using ethereum and bitcoin pair and that can become the real reason. Some days ago ethereum has been getting rekt due to the EOS dump their ether to the market directly. And that has been affecting the whole market.

Maybe? because I saw that if the one of eth and btc drop its price, the other altcoin also regrets going down too so probably all of altcoins are depends on the two leading coins in market.
