Does anyone have a compiled linux client they wish to share? Or maybe some instructions regarding compiling as this is something I never do on linux but obviously should start.

Compiling under *buntu/debian based linux is a piece o cake

as the very first step (just a little added insurance that its a smooth install if you are not familiar with the process)

You need to wait for the sync to complete, then your characters will become active. After that you  need to move them off of the colored squares asap. If they stay there too long (30 blocks), they will be killed.

if you are 10 hours behind don't create players.. it will just make the load harder

I cloned it with git:

git clone https://github.com/chronokings/huntercoin

Then compile with Qt Creator - run the huntercoin-qt.pro file from inside Qt Creator.

Worked fine (Lubuntu 13.04).

Played a bit yesterday, mined 40 coins. Game is pretty fun, perhaps with some updates you guys can add more complexity to make it more strategic.

Do you get 3 hunters or one at the beginning? Cause I only had one playable guy.

Guys i had the sync problem so i opened port from 1024 to 1030 TCP/UDP restarted router & pc and now all works! hope it help

it is 230mb.. database folder will stay same.. can ignore that..

when blocks are 1 min, it won't increase so fast..

also.. in 3 years, probably you can get 1tb on microsd card... but.. still ,,, not a lot can do atm.. it's one of the things/experimental parts we wanted to know about
