Another thing snailbrain.

- Stick to scrypt and forget sha.
- Remove the game and put it in an independent platform.

Newsflash: You all were on a fork and mined blocks all for yourself without competition from other miners. Don't act entitled, newbs. Roll Eyes
Coin definetely needs a relaunch or if one of the longer chains is used then most of those blocks should be given away.

I guess you just saw the blocks flying in, just like me. Every block mined by my shitty GPU, yea right.  Roll Eyes
Obviously the client has problems communicating with other nodes. No sync = fork. Never said client isn't broken, but don't act childish: "My coins are gone omg D:". New features, new problems. Have fun with the next scryptclone if you don't like that.

How the hell do I even get started? Granted I'm a total novice to this stuff but I don't have a clue how to set up a traditional mining set up or start with the game. I see a lot of people having trouble here but can anyone help out a beginner? I mean, I can't play the game without having coins first. But I don't know how to mine any to be able to play the game. Really excited about this coin but I can't figure out how to get started.

Ok now I'm really baffled.
I've deleted the files as suggested, keeping the conf and wallet files.
Relaunched - Updating/Syncing - Now the bloody Wallet keeps crashing:

huntercoin-qt.exe has stopped working.

Help.

Dev, are you at least considering a relaunch or not? Lots of people are either wasting their time trying to get the thing to even run while it seems like others are happily mining away. Not fair to anyone really.

Why are all of you surprised all of the coins are gone?

You were warned in the beginning that something was up but you thought you were on the correct blockchain and continued on hoping to make killer amounts of coin.

Hell, as soon as I noticed my wallet desyncing I stopped mining.

This coin really needs a relaunch...

If this coin was my kid I'd ground it for a week after this performance

If you like my post please feel free to give me some positive rep https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=18639

Newsflash: This coin was promoted ages ago so some were prepared, but if others can't be arsed to mine then bleating about 'competition' is nonsense.

evilix - My wallet never said it was not "in sync"
The whole time after I sync'd and was mining away I had no reason to think anything was wrong at all until I came on here and started to read what others were saying.

I agree, it probably needs a relaunch when all the bugs are sorted.

-snailbrain - I'm mining on windows yes, but I mine everything on windows (its my main computer which I mine on when I'm not using it) - The wallets I use for other solo mining do not cause the wallet to lag which leads me to think it is the game and not "because I'm on windows".
Also - the computer is fine, if I minimise the Wallet, everything else is running normal. Its just the wallet itself that is slow...

If you're a novice go elsewhere and mine something else. This coin is a cluster fuck.

I grant you nobody is making profit from this. I mined last 3 hours and also i lost 400 HUC. We are wasting our time because this coin worth it!
