Getting a crash error with new update. Going to stick with 1.00.05 for now.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.

if you do not start the fight with bots, then the game is no good waiting. have not been successful, no game in which you play some bots

and bot users are dumping at any price

is the main problem of this coin! but developers do not want to deal with it, apparently themselves use bots! Man will never be sold at such a cheap price.

only the same amount of coins are created, whether there are bots or not.

--

there is nothing that will or can be done. Bots were mentioned in the OP of huntercoin thread since way before release and on release..
Nothing can stop bots, it's inevitable that bots will be able to do anything that a human can (swim, eat, breath, die).

Adapt, also if you are really worried about bots, you could probably get one made for <200$

but, all you need to do, is make a team of humans. You are trying to solo mine still , it's like soloing mining bitcoin with 1 GPU a long time ago, then the difficulty goes up and now you are complaining you are no longer getting any coins

p.s. I don't have any bots.

Huntercoin is the best coins since NXT for me. I don't care about the price, HUC will hit top 20 of total market capitalization.

Yes they are bot, but you can kill him easily. They had a day you can mining bitcoin with your PC, now you need a $5,000 rigs. It's not fair ? Same for HUC, it's harder and harder to "human mining", simple like that. Life is hard.

HUC will be added at Cryptsy, but they are some technical issue for the moment. If the devs fix this issues, you'll not regret your investment. The price is cheap, so buy it. I'm supporting Huntercoin since day one, and I'll continue to support this coins, because it's a very good idea.

agree, the idea is good, but it was converted to a conventional fork, that nobody wants to be in a time and will play five people who will have thousands of bots. here I recently went 15 teams, the generals were at the base, but all 15 teams were recently bits bots, and my team did not even carry coins! Coins can only be when people believe in it, not robots! Now if nothing is done against bots, the coin will not live more than a week!

I'm sorry that you do not want to understand the obvious things and kill good coin!

My view on Bots.

First off, I have been with Huntercoin since the original launch.....stayed for re-launch. I solo gpu-mined some of the first blocks. I used to play on 3 computers before you were able to change the size of the view screen. I put up with all the lag, bugs, errors and unresponsiveness.
I no longer play Huntercoin.

However, I do still hold a good bit of Hucs(not as much as I used to, I dumped 50% of my holdings when I first realized the BGB problem). I still day-trade Hucs, and I still support the idea. But, it is pointless to play. The bots have an upper-hand, humans have to deal with lag and slow responses from client.....bots do not.

Bots take away the "human-mineable" aspect of HUC. This was one of the strongest features of the coin. Yes, I could buy or code my own bot....but how is that human-mineable? It is a bot doing the mining. Yes, also people can create teams and work together, but with the current state of the client(unresponsive, pending moves, lag) it would be close to impossible to properly coordinate stuff.

The fact is, bots will destroy the coin prices. You cannot compare early hardware BTC mining with this. BTC prices reflect the resources needed to generate them(electricity, hardware, rising difficulty, configuration time). Bots running around in the game cost the bot-owner next to nothing aside from the few hours spent coding the bot. After the bot is coded it will only take minor adjustments to keep it going. Coin prices will reflect that. When it was mostly humans playing, there was a lot of human time spent on the game.....the price reflected that. Now that people can get hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of HUCS from a few lines of code......you can't really expect the price to be more than a few cents per coin.

I am not bitter, I understand it is just a game. But, it does rub me the wrong way when this is compared to early BTC mining.

I absolutely agree! Excellent written. I also played for over a month, almost every day. But with egodnyashnego day I do not see any reason to play.

We probably need to implement mandatory visual captchas per general in every 5 moves. lol.

I'm inclined to agree with the anti-bot angle. And I do think it is being reflected in the rapidly-falling coin price. When people spend less time playing the game to mine because bots are doing it for them, it's only logical that the value of the coin will drop. If you work less hours, you get paid less money, as an analogy.

Having said that though I still think HUC is an "underground" coin right now and it still has the potential to be discovered by a lot more people. Right now it's just crypto-enthusiasts that know about it.

edit:

Also to address snail and his insistence for people to form mining "guilds" - the idea is good but I don't think anyone is actually willing to do it. Why? Because it's too much hassle. We're playing this as a game after all, and creating an organization where you would have to communicate with people (perhaps even over voice chat) is just too much work.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.
