400 coins? Damn. I was happy to get 30. Hahaha...
Yeah no kidding. I banked 100 which is insane as it is.... could of done more but didn't want to sit here all night in front of my box. By the looks of things seems like more people are getting on the right chain. And what happened to BGB??? BGB already killed 7 of my generals in the passed 10 hours... it's alive and getting more stronger. watch out.. Wouldn't it make sense for us to team up against BGB? Wouldn't we make more HUC that way?

A lot of "BGB" out there are fakes. Heck, I had 1 fake BGB before! But BGB had over 1000 teams before. Not just 400...

I'll finally chime in here. I have started releasing some bots on the longest chain. The fork was bad timing for me as I was on the road yesterday and out of town for the weekend. I still have several bots stuck on the wrong chain. Plus it will take some time for them to regenerate the players.
I noticed some posts about suspected cheating and rolling blocks back. I have not done that. I have been a supporter of this coin from day 1. Snail could probably confirm this since he knows my other identity. Someone asked me how much I have made from the bots. I do have a stash of HUC, but I have not dumped or traded one of them. I am simply more interested at this point in experimenting with the bots, gameplay, and strategy.
I hope to partner up with some other bots to see what kind of multibot strategy we can develop.

But i really think new players wont have enough experience and luck and they will leave the game soon because all they will see are the bots...

(I wasn't being a dick, I was saying all that very sarcastically of course.) I am from the mind set that the better the players are in the game, the faster the new players coming in will learn. I think maybe part of the problem is that the old players are now having to adjust to someone T-Bagging their face in with bots. Well, the new players that are coming in aren't going to know about the "prebot" days. You see this all the time with games. New guys will adjust much much faster and will come in swinging against the big dogs. At least he is taking over with a good idea. Not just some company blindly throwing money at hardware.

I am completely non technical and have no idea what anyone is talking about for the last 5 pages.
I bought a bunch of HUC a couple of weeks ago and keep them on qt...the name on the zip archive is "Huntercoin-1.00.05c-time-to-dest"
I have not opened my qt or done any transactions for almost a week, definitely before these apparent problems started.
Are my coins safe? once we are eventually all on one chain again will the coins still be recognised as mine and I will be able to spend them without needing to do anything different?
Thanks
1) Your coins are safe. 2) You should back up your wallet. (Check my sig for some backup software for wallets.) 3) If you are on the wrong chain, you shouldn't do anything at all. Don't send. Don't receive. Get on the right chain. 2) I have a back up from after my last transaction which was before this problem. Any need for another new back up? 3) How do I know what chain im on? How do I get on the right chain? My qt has not been open for a week so last time it synced there was only 1 chain. BTW I do not want to make any transactions or play for the moment, I just want to know that if I do, say in 2 months, all I will have to do is open the qt and press send or if thats not the case what I have to do to make it the case. Cheers

No trading on cryptorush until "the problem is fixed". All I had to do was remove tha last node from conf and download the blockchain

still looking into the issue even though everyone (on here :d) seems to agree the longest chain is the correct one - i'd still not trade, and be wary. Possible there is some invalid tx in the chain. Needs further investigation. -- also.. people can't sync onto the chain from scratch, so still needs a fix whether it's right or not. AND, it might happen again -- There is an update if anyone is interested in looking: new RPC command, getchains https://github.com/chronokings/huntercoin/pull/19also more debug for reorg https://github.com/chronokings/huntercoin/pull/18i've not uploaded windows version yet.. ---- hopefully this will provide more insight, and allow people to investigate further. If you are a dev and want to support the community, and find and fix the problem sooner there will be a bounty. -- apologise for the late response, have been moving home..

it seems to be OK now. I used to download and update the client from the op link. At present, i can receive and send HUC from other, the current block is 91944 I tested withdraw and deposit in btcqian.com, it's normal I don't know whether poloniex.com is on the right block. poloniex is an exchange. They aren't on any block. You deposit coins, trade them, hopefully withdraw them. The coins are what may be worthless...if they aren't on the valid fork. If you deposited before this happened they should be fine, Snailbrain rapidly warned the exchanges to avoid problems when this came to light so it shouldn't be a problem. Any HUC in an exchange before the forks, they should be normal. Ditto any you already had in your wallet. I decided to leave it until it's fixed properly, if you're the kind of person who likes to build up large quantities of imaginary coins and then will be pissed off to find they are no good...maybe best to do the same Ditto if too much arsing about downloading and updating doesn't suit you. Just wait and save yourself the grief Interesting to me is the chat on that exchange, right now during this problem and trading being stopped, there's a lot of confidence and enthusiasm for HUC. That's a new one on me, usually it's the opposite. So once things work out and all is as it should be you can probably expect a decent rise in value.
