Based on experience, you should find a reliable bounty manager because some bounty managers are irresponsible. They are not even updating spreadsheets and not updating bounty participants about the bounty. With regards to legitimacy of bounty, it's up to us bounty hunters to review bounties before joining.

Own research is something you really need to do to get a good bounty. because now the bounty is so big that scam. almost 80% I see a lot of potential scams. and we must be very careful in doing bounty searches

obviously you studied very few projects. pay attention to the project in which I am currently involved. They have very good bounty campaign.

They used to pay well and now they often have delays , but I think you can still find good bounty managers who also pay well .

Bountyhive is a good third party platform, that lists project for their bounties. It has got a lot of users.
There are also other platforms, but one unique thing about bounyhive, is that token rewards are paid one to two weeks after the campaign.
If the team of the project is not white listing the contract address of the token with bounyhive, they may not be able to send , but will inform you and keep you updated.

What you will waste is time only ,don't listen to people's opinions because most bounty managers have there own issues as well ,I don't like amazix bounties my luck doesn't work with them ,I'd rather watch out for bounties thread on the forum and do thoroughly research before joining
