Just wasted 45 minutes. Got minerd.exe compiled. No idea how to export it out so I can use it outside of Cygwin. No Windows wallet. Cgminer isn't compiling properly. This is just annoying. I'm going back to Klondikecoin and Megacoin. So long.

(Trojan.BitcoinMiner) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.

Do you think he has the technical know how to do this. He most likely hired the help and they're the ones scamming or they're just inept... at this point if you read the twitter it looks like ineptitude. How did they not realize the amount of traffic here have they been under a rock!? |

If you are getting aclocal error while compiling, install automake sudo apt-get install automake then chmod +x ./autogen.sh ./autogen.sh then follow the rest of the instructions I searched the web and aclocal is part of automake  |

any guide for complete beginners on how to set this up? I am on windows but can also switch to ubuntu if needed
I am on ubuntu and this d/l looks sensible https://github.com/Max-Coin/clients(get the zip) extract twice as needed and await password (hope it is easy after that!) |
