Hurry up Coins-e and complete my order!

I spent like .1 bitcoin and ended up with ~500,000 maxcoin.

Got in the first 10 minutes. Such luck.

Really want to start buying bitcoin now, but can not as it has not cleared. (yet)

Thoughts??

Where is your order, I dont see anyone having 500k coins because they arent even available you goof!

How do I show you my order?

Hmm, maybe my order will process once they become available to coins-e ... is that how it works?
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

those 2 scam devs knew what they were at, the were branding a super fair launch coin etc..but in reality there agenda was ultimately to make it difficult super complicated to mine from the start so they could have a bigger window to mine, as there was no premine from the start this would be how they could get around it to accumulate a significant amount of coins for themself.

This was no doubt their plan, who releases a coin without a windows QT? Especially a coin with this much pre launch hype.

are any of the pools paying?

0 pools working to my knowledge  Huh

It's hard to get a pool running when you can't get a single bit of real information from the devs.

F*&# it. I finally got the Windows binary to run but I'm not supporting this POS. Deleted and I advise folks to do the same. Make your money elsewhere.

I don't get it.

This was all but an organized release.

You don't release the coin on Wednesday because of "502 errors".

But you do release it when you have next to no support for Windows users along with very little documentation.

You wasted peoples time and excluded the majority of people.

That's not a "Fair release" and I will not be investing any money in to Maxcoin.

I'm right there with you, total BS coin deserves to crash hard and die

has anyone tried the cgminer

which is on this page http://pool.webcoin.us/max/

is it safe?

is it stable?
on my machine it just closes after a while

Anyone tried?

Tried the one on the official git - doesn't work. Gets lots of rejects... seems to be doing normal Bitcoin SHA, not SHA-3 I think judging from the .bin file generated. No documentation on how to force it to keccak.

I am relieved to hear that, because that download seems to behave the same.

Still, how to know if there is a trojan in it? (my antivirus didn't find any)

I have to agree, these guys are incredibly sloppy for such an anticipated launch.

The have not tested their code.

I found 3 bugs trying to compile on Linux.

Some show stopper bug trying to compile on MacOX snow leopard.

Windows binary was buggy haven't tried to compile that yet.

The cgminer source is broken.

The main website is useless.

They haven't updated this thread.

Twitter and Reddit are useless ways to organize information.

What stratum version are pool owners supposed to use with this coin?
No wonder they are not up yet.
