Those are false positives. It's using the IRC method to obtain seed nodes. AV's do not like this code as it is often used by botnets for control. You can add an exception in your antivirus program quite safely.

By the way, isn't IRC seeding supposed to be removed in the current version? In github trunk it is anyway, and replaced with DNS seed (which still does not work: the DNS server does not respond).

AFAIK, the DNS seeder is not active yet.
Still using the IRC method in the compiled binaries.

But IRC code is removed from the source, isn't it?

Frankly i mined MAX up yeterday.But when i see complete lost of buyers interest i done and switched to X11 coins which is better.From my point of view MAX is almost dead.
Not expecting improvment.
Keiser abandon it and make new ASIC coin, what a shame.
