any word on whether or not they're going to hard fork the coin and reduce the block reward? Max, on his twitter, said that he's meeting up with Nigel Smart and the dev's later this week in Bristol.

Max, on his twitter, said that he's meeting up with Nigel Smart and the dev's later this week in Bristol.

Means  he is preparing another coin or he is trying to pump up the price with fake news again.
Both can be called scams.

To reduce block reward out of schedule and ahead of supposed halving time is a scam and also very stupid move given everything I posted earlier,
see EXC, ZET and PMC part at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=438150.msg5626514#msg5626514

They better debate potential uses for already mined coins. GPU for MAX? Blowjob for MAX? Kick banker ass for MAX? That would be a good start!  Smiley

I doubt it, that would undermine the whole coin and lose confidence the tiny bit it has. Tomorrow they can turn around and say sorry we're forking again... its usually not a smart move... Max knows markets, he can do basic math... so he knew this would happen... we are still not at a bottom yet so I think they probably just want to figure out what projects to roll out going forward....

ok. you're probably right.

i've been buying it on the way down, my system not nearly as refined as yours. I don't know if i've got the appetite for much more but i'm holding on through the pain anyway.

Maxcoin mining is not profitable anymore...at the the very beginning i made nice profit out of it, but now can't even cover my electricity bills.

As soon as MaxCoin mining becomes unprofitable we should start finding a support level on the price. Is the bottom close? I think it is. Are we there yet? No.

Think in the opposite way, someone won 10 btcs out of maxcoin because of your stupidity and buying high. Looking at the overall downtrend of maxcoin i doubt now is the right time to go long.

With cryptocoins it is almost always hard to tell when to buy or sell. The best strategy is to start buying or selling a little then buy or sell more if price
moves against you or in your favour. Here is my MAX investment so far, notice the gaps where it was obvious price will go down more so I removed
buy order to not end up with too much MAX at high average price. I'm now "fishing" at 0.00025 for a total of 0.8 BTC and hoping for massive dump
to fill my orders at 0.000125 and eventualy 0.0000625, that would massively help to reduce currently not so good average buy price (the last column).

So, by utilizing a variation of Martingale betting system (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martingale_%28betting_system%29) one can end up with
very good average price. Above you can see that even though I started buying at 0.0014 if all buy orders end up filled my average price (no profit if
I sell all at that price) would be 0.00012506 with total 4.66 BTC invested and around 37k MAX bought. Even if price would stay at 0.0000625 at that
point I would be in loss for only 50% around 2.33 BTC. If price later goes up 100 times, to 0.012506 which is very possible given it was at 0.005 at
one point already, that would return 4.66 BTC > 466 BTC a massive profit if I manage to sell all MAX at 0.012506

If price stays around current levels I will just move my buy orders higher, to 0.003 or so, or even buy at around 0.0035 for like 0.8 BTC in total.

Anyone who thinks he or she will always enter or exit market at absolute bottom or absolute top is a noob trader. That is not how investments work.

Thanks welcomed at mTpxbaoEbNoryabX2k8UCjiTmSdLZzAnmG  Smiley

is it something like self-satisfaction?..
all that you have now is lost money.

maybe you hope will come true, but all that you may have at this moment - even more lost money then now - 37k dead coins LOL

Hey guys,

We (gamblex team) will be launching a new exchange and gambling site in the following months. Until now we made a very conservative selection of coins to be included. But we want to change that!

Would you be intrested in your coin being added to our portfolio?

Discuss here, or write me a PM:

Current outloook is still the same. Garbage coin with bottom feeder developers who don't have a clue what they are doing alongside a greedy media puppet named MaxKeiser pumping the crap out of a totally useless copycat clone coin.

Perfect summary.
The coin is a problem by itself , it can't get fixed no matter what you try.
