Hey guys, do you think It is better to hold main crypto currencies like bitcoin it ether? Or you hold all your money in alt coins?

i prefer for investment in bitcoin or ethereum, i believe they will give me a huge profit in the future. this two coin has a great impact in the crypto world.

Young crypto-currencies, which are now worth a penny or not at all on a single exchange, may become market leaders in the future. Once a few cents worth bitcoin, and now its capitalization of is more than a billion dollars.

I think holding or investing bitcoin and altcoin makes no difference. Bitcoin and Altcoin have the same opportunities in the success of investing. But bitcoin may look more promising and have less risk I feel than altcoin to be invested.

I hold alts, but you should always have some amount of btc or eth for further market movements like rebuy or day trading and etc. Alts can gain more profit, they can make even 1000% in 24 hours

Definitely, all of the money do not  invest in altcoin. I have divided the Deposit into three parts - USD, BTC and altcoins. Always keep in USD at least 20-40% of the total amount to buy more if the market goes down.

I'm doing both right now. I think firstly we need a strong back, which is possible when we are holding some main cryptos like bitcoin, eth. Then we can concentrate on some altcoin as well. We can participate trading platforms. Personally I'm holding bitcoin & also involving with altcoin trading.

Bitcoin and etherium are more stable coins than altcoins that are not included in the top 30.
Invest in altcoins that are not in the top 30 need if you are confident in growth. But since to know what will happen no one can, it's exceptionally good luck.
Therefore I make a portfolio in which I store several coins.

If it is holding process then I am sure altcoins are not the good option to do so. The reason is simple one, altcoins are very very volatile in terms of pricing. So it could happen that they may drop down below with dramatic changes and thus may take long period to recover from it. If not then they could also go scam eventually if projects did not work properly. However bitcoin and also ethereum (exception) are currencies which will have no end and mostly they will get revived if they get into the dips. So better choose them.

Well, I still prefer to buy bitcoin and hold it rather than altcoins, for me altcoins are good too but I won't invest and hold it just like what I am doing to bitcoin aside from Eth where in I am treading it as just like the brother or bitcoin that they have both capacity to be profitable in the future.

If you expect to get a big profit from investing in altcon then you need to buy a huge number of coins with very little capitalization. Perhaps some of them will be successful.
Then you can earn a good salary.
But IMHO percent of these coins in the portfolio should not be more than 15-20%.

I think IMO, BTC and Ethereum should be represent 40% of your portfolio, if one can't balance the two then one won't maximize the potential of the space, Altcoins are good for one to multiply ones investment, BTC can only grow in value but ALtcoin would multiply your BTC

If you have some altcoins that can become kinde revolutionary in their field of activity and you own them from the very beginning - it is good asset, you can hold for a long term, but choose carefully.
If you want to invest your btc in some coins from the first 100 of coinmarcetcap top then I recommend you to hold bitcoin.
If you want to evade risks, also hold bitcoin. And remain calm till 2023

If you have altcoins then store it on a safe wallet. but i guess you should accumulate more bitcoin and especially Ethereum this is a good long term investment and please pay attention of some good Crypto in the market.

I invested all my money in altcoin in January of this year, and everyone saw it. It was a really bad experience. Now I've changed all the coins to the bitcoin.

The problem is that you probably invested at the wrong time and maybe bought at the top. Piece of advice though, it is always better to understand the rate of volatility of the market and the reason why altcoins are even the most volatile. You can get the best from them if you actually know how to follow trend and buy into them when they are sure doing well before they hit the peak, and by then, you do not want to be holding on to them for so long as they can come back right to where they started from.
