I think it's better to keep the money in cash. We don't buy coins just to store them. We buy coins for investment, and we have to monitor them and often sell or buy more.

I think it depends on an individual preference and knowledge on how to manage their portfolio.
Bitcoin and ether aside from being popular they are easy to manage.

Hey guys, do you think It is better to hold main crypto currencies like bitcoin it ether? Or you hold all your money in alt coins?

At the moment, it's better to keep it in bitcoin or the ethereum. After they start growing, altcoins usually fall in price in relation to them.

Now is the perfect time to buy, the time to hold your cash as you said earlier this year when Bitcoin reached $ 20K and most of the altcoin hit the highest price in their history.

The best solution is to diversify your assets. Therefore buy bitcoin 20-30-40% from your portfolio. 40-50-60% altcoins that you will choose. So you reduce the risks.

I think the safest option is to hold ETH and BTC for a long term.  But you can also try to invest some money in other coins.

In This case i think that this is the time to invest only in those Altcoin which you think they reach there least price and in future the price will rise.
Otherwise it better to hold.

For me having those main cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin is better because they coins are more stable than some other coins especially altcoins. They already existed for so many years and never vanished so if you will invest then go for the main cryptos.

I always have a lot of different coins on my hands, I always invest my money in promising projects. Bitcoin and Ethereum also exist, it is through them that I buy everything.

i think that the best way on this bear market is holding 60% USDT, 20% BTC, 10% ETH, 10% other coins. Now market is very dangerous and we can see the new bottom on btc, so we need to hold money to buy cheap coins.

For me, financial investment is always risky but the opportunity is also great so if you choose only safe investments then the opportunity to break out in this market will be very little. I believe altcoin has the potential to help investors get more profit than long-standing coins such as BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP.

i suggest investing and holding to ethereum and bitcoin. Altcoins are known to be best at short term holding therefore holding ethereum and bitcoin would more likely result to bigger profit in the future once the recovery starts. These cryptos have already proven to be good for holding as what is seen on the growth of their market value from the previous years.

It depends on how long do you plan to hodl it. If you are planning to hodl it for years, I think the best choice will be bitcoin or ethereum. For short term hodl, I will recommend that you split your money like 50% on ETH or BTC and 50% on other alts. Investing on multiple coins gives you the ability to sell every time there is an opportunity since you are still hodling other coins. Risk is also much higher but its much better than holding just one coin with.

I haven't got used to store everything in one coin. Therefore I use the following strategy: I invest 25% in BTC; 25% in ETH, 25% in EOS. On the rest I would take new blockchains: Selee; PCHAIN; Quarkchain. I believe that new blockchains will give excellent profit when the market will go upward. These coins are very perspective.

I you were able to get hold of Bitcoin during its earlier stage when price was much lower, selling would be an option since you have surely earned a huge amount of profit. Otherwise, better hold for the meantime until price become reasonable. For ETH, well, there is still so much room for growth. So buying is viable and holding will still be beneficial.
