Simply put, you should buy a cold wallet like ledger nano s because it stores private-key in your wallet hardware, which the hacker can access, the higher the technology, the easier it is to hack because of high technology. More than simple manageable technology such as ledger nano s for example, easy to use, and if you store in the wallet desktop, web wallet, wallet, your account to the third party grasp hold on

That's one thing, other ways of keeping your wallet safe is to avoid acceasing unknown websites, always clear cache cookies, and don't store your passwords anywhere make sure it's encrypted.

You are right, but the best way to protect the wallet is to use a hardware wallet. This is because you have only access to it and it is cold storage. On this way the chance is minimal that your wallet come in trouble.

I want to say that hardware wallet is not a guarantee of security. if the user does not comply with the basic security rules, then hackers can break into such a wallet.

I always use Metamask. I think this is safer than MEW.

One of the best ways to stay safe from hackers is by avoiding saving your private keys or backup seed in google drive or in your email draft or inbox folder. It is hard to believe but most people still practice this and forget that they used their email address in some phishing sites which is categorically unavoidable in the age we are in now as hackers are everywhere. This give room for hackers to have access to your wallet after hacking the email account. Another is used MetaMask as it is safe since other wallet are quite expensive to afford.

I've been very careful in accessing anything in this virtual world because everything can happen whether it's phishing or viruses that can take over important data on our devices, so the basic thing I do is always protect all my important accounts and devices use to store assets, because the wallet is still using Metamask instead of MEW.

For the best of all I think MetaMask is the best wallet for now because it has a greater security as compared to other ones.

There are many ways to protect yourself from people who want to steal money from you. At a minimum, this is not to participate in all free distributions, use other email addresses, as well as use a separate computer to communicate and surf the Internet. Network security is a whole science, and anyone who uses online money should understand it.

Its stupid to use same pc for internet browsing , playing games and dowloading stuff with crypto on same pc . Hardware wallet dont cost much , just buy it or do paper wallet . Few years ago i was holding on my pc , but i did split my private key in many parts and there was 1 missing part that was not on my PC . Just remember last 6-9 symbols of private key and maybe you will feel a little more safe .

Nothing in this world is completely safe, less than ever a website.
But with a minimum of attention, by following the normal precautions, one can be quite sure that the thief will look for an easier target.

What you just need to use is your common sense and keep your wallets on separate OS or PC and never use that OS for general browsing purposes or work related purpose. Use that OS/PC for just crypto wallets and transactions. Also never download new wallets as they could be malwares, only download from trusted sources and the official websites. With that I can say your wallet is secure

the best way to avoid our wallets being stolen is to be very careful when giving our personal data, especially when you fill in a form you should see clearly what they are telling you clearly, keep your wallet keys in different places so you will not mis-copy them when will fill in your wallet's address, and when you want to see the contents of wallet close your wallet and turn off your computer, as a precaution.
