Still people are use private keys or mnemonic words? Why dont you use encrypted file? By using an encrypted file + password you are much more protected against spy attacks.

This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets. There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view. Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins. Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.
This idea is very logical and would be of immense benefit to me. It just dawned on me that my wallet may be at risk since I share it to other people for collection of funds. I would need to get another wallet to move the funds and avoid stories that touch.

I personally view this as the act of laziness on the part of the wallet owners or much more, they aren't aware of the danger in exposing one private keys. Many wallets had been hacked due to the owners negligence of their passphrase, password and their private keys. Practically, hardwallet still remain the best form to keep your coins or valuable tokens safe. Also, I will like to say cold wallet could.be best too if the holders can use the computer in storing their tokens or coins. The problem with cold wallet is if the computer network port can be remove from the computer system. I have been using this type of cold wallet for my coins and tokens, and never encounter any challenge of any sort.

since I first used ethereum wallet until now nothing has happened to my wallet ... and I believe ethereum has a good and safe platform ... but if something happens to our wallet then it is caused by an error that we use the private key or we have been hit by a webpage that is often sent via email and other media ... so take good care of our private key

different customs on work with the keylogger as sometimes to put also the function on capturing returns of the clips on execution as users of computer might wants to displace notes with the records of passphrase from different directory on hardisk with the storage space on cpu.

If you have coins for long hold, then mobile and Web wallets is not for you coffee of thier high prone to attack. But if you must, ensure that you didn't save your private keys anywhere online especially your email. Also, never fill any suspicious form or site asking for Passphrase or private keys to earn a reward.

Hardware wallets are your safest options although it's not 100% fail proof. Once you get one, save one private keys and password copied out in your dairy in your bank lockers, then next at home and I am sure you will be fine. And most importantly, never save any sentient information on cloud nor give out your sentient information to anybody no matter the price at stake

It depends on which wallet. Any wallet is protected first of all when its private key is securely hidden. However, you should also monitor the safety and frequency of the devices and systems from which you are working, because they are the targets for hacker attacks.

Hackers will always do whatever it take to dig in what's most valuable to you, and for those assets like eth tokens which can be viewed using etherscan they'll able to find out how much it worth. Most importantly use metamask wallet for safety, I don't know with other holders but this is very safe based on my good experience.

Basically, you should purchase a cool wallet like record nano s since it stores private-key in your wallet equipment, which the programmer can get to, the higher the innovation, the simpler it is to hack as a result of high innovation. More than basic reasonable innovation, for example, record nano s for instance, simple to utilize, and on the off chance that you store in the wallet work area, web wallet, wallet, your record to the outsider handle hang on
bought some hardware wallet like trzor is a good idea for safe our asset from hacker, because when using hardware wallet is more safer than we used software wallet like MIT, MEW and other because someone can access our computer and theft our information

Now days it's really hard to say which one is safe way and which one is not. Everyday Scammers or fraud people get smart. But all i know that if you want to safe your wallet from hackers then firstly safe your privet key. In my opinion yes hardware wallet is the best option to keep your coins/tokens safe. Now days cold wallet is also a good option for coin holders. Doesn't matter what are you choose for your coin double check before you use it.

The only and most reliable way to protect your wallets from hackers is to make sure that hackers never even know that you have wallets, not to mention how to get into them. Any person can do this. There are quite a few tips on the forum that you can listen to. The best thing is to create a wallet on a device that has never connected to the Internet.

Not your private keys, not your coins. I usually talk about the good sides of the Bitcoin, Blockchain technology but never talked about my Bitcoins. The gold rule explains a lot for the new traders and crypto investors. The safe wallets are offline wallets like Nano ledger, Trezor but the new desktop wallets promote the wrong ideas. The offline personal computer is enough for getting the best privacy in my opinion. The broken smartphone also does the job as offline storage for the crypto holdings. The pro tips by the security advisors help the new trader in order to prevent the phishing, malware attacks.

The best way to keep ones wallet safe is to learn how to keep the login details to the wallet safe first. This is one major factor most wallet holders luck and eventually lead to their stolen funds. Never store wallet login details in mails because mails are very susceptible to attack especially the mails frequently used to fill online forms.

protecting your wallet against hackers is simply a matter of making lots of wallets and breaking up your wallet, to make it difficult for hackers to access your account.

I use a web wallet with several copies on white paper, cellphone, flashdisk. and so far I haven't experienced any obstacles and hopefully bad things won't happen to me. The point is that wherever you store assets always be vigilant and don't be careless. often lose assets in their wallets because they recklessly access them, while private keys are hard to hack because only you can find out, but unlike assets you store on the exchange that are vulnerable to hacking, because fraudsters always target large amounts of assets on the exchange

One misconception of people. Just because you have never been hacked doesn't mean you are safe from them. We never are. If we become a target, they will try till they get it,,, the fact is there are easier targets than us,,, so we have to keep being more harder to hack than others. Of course if we have 100 BTC in a wallet and people know, that itself is a big target.

It is easy to say which ways are definitiely not safe actually. You just need to eliminate as much risk as possible, whatever the event. And in general that simply means be always wary of what you do online. Always know exactly what site you visit and what it does to your computer. And if possible, access your wallet (storage) as less often as possible.
