You didn't lose anything, you made profit but yes you could have made more if you didn't sell early. This happens with me as well but taking profit is always good instead waiting and becoming greedy for more. We can't guess if we'll gain more or we can lose the current profit as well.

Recently I faced a bad luck. here the story

I got IOTX from GATE .io 28th of may 196000 @ .00004600 ETH.  Then after one or two hour i sold it to @ .00004800.

After 3 days means June 1st , one IOTX went to .00014ETH. 

if i sell June 1st  196000 * .00014 *590 = 16189$
Investment is = 5300$
so i have lost = 10800$

so in this story if i could wait 3 days , i have profit of 10000 USD. so in this case i am saying please be patient. wait wait. good coins always give a good reward to you

but I think you should not regret the decision you have taken, because no one knows what will happen to the market the next day. but you can make it a lesson when buying coins that have a good potential rise should hold for longer.

at least, he can learn from this lesson and he needs to have more patience to wait for the price increase back. and if we decide to be an investor, then we need to have a big patient because the investment that we made need a time before we can take a profit so from this, you can get a good learning and you can stay survive in the future. and if you think that you can make a big profit in the future, then you should wait and hold the coin so your investment can give you a profit.

Its always good not to sell immediately and also not to feel too relaxed because prices are going up. I was in a similar situation but i didnt sell quickly. I had Hydro coins over 4-5 days it value rose in triple. I was waiting for a day or tow extra that it will grow more... The rate the price crashed that night was devaastating. Panic always make wrong decisions and wrong decisions always make troubles. Never sell in panic as this market rebound very fast on a positive news and if you sell in panic you never catch your sell coin again at that price and that is another notional loss.
