Hmn. 368mio premine - diff is 30+ and block time is 2.5minutes So lets say the average miner got 3mh/s. He gets 500k Coins á day. Thats 736 days mining with 3mh/s - right now. If we compare it to other coins. You could get 0.05BTC á day with 3mh/s. So the premine is worth right now about 36.8BTC. Good job OP  Turpoman, here's a quick info. ^^^ Yes, if the difficulty would stay at 30 with maximum 500k block reward every time. We are now at 59 and it's rising fast. How do you calculate hashrate vs. difficulty level and block reward? What is the mathematical formula? |

Is it just me or does launch day mining no longer work for good profits? Difficulty rises way too fast now as everyone wants in at low difficulty... and then nobody gets low difficulty. An hour in an next estimated at 150... which is going to go up even more once 500,000 blocks roll in. I'm out.  |

Too many people are watching these forums for the next best thing. There are more people mining cryptocurrencies now than there ever has been. If you don't get in on the moment it's launched then you're not going to get the best return because plenty of others will! |

But it just goes to show how ridiculous it has become. But I can't talk too much since I've been... part of it. Up until now pretty much. I think I'm finished doing this. Now the effort/time just isn't paying off anymore. Either the new coin forks if solo-mining, or the pools can't keep up at low difficulty so you 75% of hash rate doesn't even show up on them. This wasn't the case a month ago, but times have quickly changed. Even if I get in the moment it's launched, it's usually a "why am I only getting 20% of a my projected total from this pool" or "am I mining on the right block chain" if solo. The only one making anything off this is the dev. 6-7 MH/s over here isn't good enough anymore. |
