Penguincoin / PENG can now be traded! It was recently added to this new professional looking crypto exchange: http://pmtocoins.com/

Get trading!

http://pmtocoins.com/index.php?page=trade&market=7
What's that site? It's all empty.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Pools should change the confirmation of 120 too like 20 or something. 120 is high...

Diff is dropping = more coins!! Cheesy Too the mooooon

this is not something the pools decide, its the network, its built that way, look at litecoin, bitcoin.. well any coin actually...

not block re-targert, i meant the pool confirms for blocks. The coin specs are perfect.

This CAN be changed, and pool owners do it to get more miners in there pool:

For the first 100 blocks after a block is mined, the coinbase output is unspendable. The litecoin client waits an additional 20 blocks after that so an effective 120 block holding period is in effect on newly mined litecoins. This limit is the same as in Bitcoin and due to Litecoin's faster block rate, means new coins mature in ~4 hours vs Bitcoin's 16 hours. This is a problem because in the case of a network fork, coins mined during the fork becoming spendable create transactions that can never be merged back into one chain.

quote from : https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/issues/26

this is from my pools wallet:

{
        "account" : "",
        "category" : "immature",
        "amount" : xxxxxx,
        "confirmations" : 35,
        "blockhash" : "xxx",
        "blockindex" : 0,
        "txid" : "xxx",
        "time" : 1391536439
    },

Yes, pool owners can do it, but as stated a little further up, that means they are pulling coins out of their own pocket to pay you earlier and then the operators are waiting the 5ish hours to get the payout.  You can do it, but there is risk involved.
and you need to have the coin, thats also difficult when its a new coin, and with only few who wants to pay for using a pool, coins will be hard to come by

Deposits are disabled because trade engine is creating issues, there is no use of deposits until there is no trade. Stay tuned on the [ANN] thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=447858

ALL TRUE, POOL CAN CHANGE AND.. WE HAVE CHANGE!

Yesterday all of this comunity have helped our pool to become the largest of this network.

Now it is time for the pool to help you and will allow you to collect your coin in advance.

Fortunately, we have a reasonable budget in the wallet, then pool listen you and the limit is confirmed
COME DOWN TO 80 (and if possible will lower it again).

Continue to support and mine on us!

Use your favourite miner:
-o stratum+tcp://peng.lotterymining.com:7777 -u login.Worker -p password

SPREAD YOUR HASHES, we dont need a pool with a 51% or more of all hashing power..!!

we monitor the forum, mine blocks... come in, and have some coffee :-)

Where is your problem, you say that just because you do not want to do it on your pool?

The pool isn't without coin, all coin I have mine with my ring I've donated and now I invest them for the benefit of all users and of my pool, if you don't want to do the same on your peng pool, don't criticize the other.

My pool is charged after 80 confirmations and has over 15 million in coin wallet, your pay after 120, everyone will choose where to go, but please "look to your pool".

I can vouch for hashery - they do honor their pending payouts, regardless of pool status.. They are not a scam, they have just had a rough start. Anyone who claims scam mindlessly needs to get a grip on reality and educate themselves on some basic networking material. Anyone who claims scam mindlessly should also setup a pool and get thousands of clients all at once to connect, just for kicks, and to see how long it takes them to turn into a 'scam'..

hashery is a good, honest pool. I don't think anyone should be so quick to assume.
