There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

The problem is that it's just another vanilla scrypt coin, and there are plenty of those already in existence. Since it doesn't really bring anything new to the table, people are probably just going to treat it as a mine and dump coin unless it can gain an actual use. I mined up to about 180k coins, but there aren't really worth anything right now until they find a good purpose. Vertcoin on the other hand...  |

This is the time to get all the coins possible, low diff, low net hash, miners like to see what earning daily so may well have moved on but I believe you have to take the risks to reap the reward, don't be like one of the sheep and follow. Be the big bad wolf stealing all the coins.
Penguin coin is so young, exchanges will start to flow in shortly and then the coin can start to grow with its value.
