peng.cryptohashery.com is set for 120 confirmations.  Not sure if you consider that faster, slower, or the same.

network has slowed down, thats why it takes longer to get to the 120 confirmations... its quite natural
anyone offering faster payout is using their own coins, because the mined coins are not available until they have been confirmed by the network.

Hi there,

Crypticpool is in it for the long run, I can assure you that it is not a scam. A new block doesn't get mature (meaning that it show ups as immature balance, you can't send it to any other wallet) until 120 confirmation. The target time is 2.5 minutes per block on average, but sometimes it takes longer. (2.5 minutes x 120 = 300 minutes ~ 5hours) So it will take each new round of unconfirmed earning roughly 5 hours to become confirmed.

Reference: https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/issues/26 (Penguincoin is based on Litecoin)

Right now all the big penguin pools are doing 120 confirmation. Clicks on the links below, scroll down to bottom right and you will see (Note: Round Earnings are not credited until 120 confirms.) on all of them:

https://www.crypticpool.com/peng/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool
http://peng.multi-pool.eu/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool
http://peng.lotterymining.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

Hope that helps

Be careful to trade on website without SSL strictly enabled. It is possible to evasdrop http request and steal http cookies on websites that doesn't have SSL enabled. I personally only trade on websites that have SSL strictly enabled (https always on, no http) to prevent my account being hacked and coins stolen.

not block re-targert, i meant the pool confirms for blocks. The coin specs are perfect.

This CAN be changed, and pool owners do it to get more miners in there pool:

Yes, pool owners can do it, but as stated a little further up, that means they are pulling coins out of their own pocket to pay you earlier and then the operators are waiting the 5ish hours to get the payout.  You can do it, but there is risk involved.
