Is it just me or does launch day mining no longer work for good profits. Difficulty rises way too fast now as everyone wants in at low difficulty... and then nobody gets low difficulty. An hour in an next estimated at 150... which is going to go up even more once 500,000 blocks roll in. I'm out.

Launch day mining? More like launch hour mining..

Too many people are watching these forums for the next best thing. There are more people mining cryptocurrencies now than there ever has been. If you don't get in on the moment it's launched then you're not going to get the best return because plenty of others will!

The days where coins needed specs as an incentive to mine early is over. Everyone wants to mine anything that is launched.

They're being "DDOS"'d by their miners, constantly F5ing the web frontend. Notice stratum still works fine for almost all of them - they're not being attacked directly, but inadvertently..

Haven't got time to check which one are working ok , would you let other people which are this pools?
And I'm affraid it's not DDOS but simply inability to handle software by bunch of kids who are running pools and  wasting time of other people/

im sorry, but right now your insulting me, i run one of these pools, and apache has been set not to do a dns lookup for ppl visiting, and i know stratum doesnt do it, and normal recieve activity on port 53 is never above 100 mbit/s will you explain to me again the part about "being a bunch of kids"?

Ok so after all it seems the best launch of any of these high block reward clones.

No instamine was possible,
0.4% premine .... not too bad....
pool was working after all.  


Still even now it seems hard to get coins, but since the blocks are slow 2.5mins and diff jumped high quick. It would seem this launch went perfectly well.

Fair coin - fair launch - hope peng does well.


100Billion seems a lot but that will take like forever to mine so i only minted coins i guess should be factored to price.

I doubt many people have even 200k coins yet.

Annoyed i removed my miners from cryptohashery but that's how it goes i guess. Back on there now.
