I lost server connection but I was able to confirm 3 big mining rewards before server went kaput.

Anyone else can confirm as well? Also, can someone link scrypt.cc's blockchain.info btc address? I know it's buried somewhere in this huge thread but I couldn't find it after 20 minutes.

I can confirm that there has been some reward paid out and trading possible again but before server got overloaded I saw that the price had dropped to 1000

wow server getting hammered now and back to over 1000/khash.

nice reward increase too overnight.  Now we play the waiting game and see how things go for the next few weeks, in the meantime i'm pulling out 90% of my daily income and leaving 10% to re-invest.

Auto will work when the server gets enough cycles to process it.

At this point its just a waiting game.
And rewards are still coming in, just reflecting slower on your account.

My mining history was cleaned. Maybe i had too much sites. I can not say if i got the reward, but my balance is now 4777 satoshi with auto invest turned on so i think it worked and i got the reward. Only the trading is not working. Even the auto-trading. The server is very overloaded today. Maybe it's getting better tomorrow.

Looks like Marcelo's getting server maintenance done due to the sheer madness. Mining rewards history cleared (with them displaying payouts every ten minutes and holding a history of 250+ pages long, that database sure got cluttered) and trollbox server offline, trade server's chugging back to life. All is well and getting better serverside.

I logged in, was like "wow, the site is fast now" then I realized that everything is turned off. No chat, no trading no rewards ..lol

The fact that "they" delete logs, delete tickets without answering them, and have this many server issues is just plain WHACK. He can afford 850Ghs of mining power, but not a decent front end.   I suppose if you want to remain underground, you have to make sacrifices

Again, i do can confirm i'm still reciving rewards and a cashout did worked for me. On IRC it's being said that trade and chat servers are down but are being worked with and should be back in notime, wallet and mining servers are all up and running, those have no problem so far. We can probably see a boom after trade servers come back, although i can't predict if is one for up or down i do guess is up as we see almost no walls... Should be reaching the 1150 mark.

it was just joke, but if really scam, this is greatest time to run out for admin. There have to be most BTC from begening now.  If it will come back online I think its good reason to trust it. Not many people here screaming SCAM .. where are you? dont miss your chance...

For those of you not so ideologically committed to scrypt.cc and can't listen to reason, this is how the scam works:

The average person comes across scrypt.cc and sees they mine "the most profitable scrypt coins" and they think, well, with one coin like Bitcoin, difficulty increases and you make less over time.  By switching coins, you'll be way more profitable!

So here is an example of a very profitable scrypt coin:

BBQ Coin: 60,480 coins produced a day; nethash=610 mhs; 610,000 khs nets 30,240 coins per day valued at .1273104 BTC; paying .00001000 per Khs gives a 47 day ROI WITHOUT ELECTRICITY costs.  With electricity, ROI is closer to 80 or 85 days.  

Sounds decent, right?  

But these smaller coins don't produce that much btc value a day.  So let's say we really like BBQ coin and commit a further 610,000 Khs.  Now we have 1.2 million Khs out of a total nethash of 1.8 million Khs.  We have 66.66% of the network hashpower and we'll get roughly 66% of the rewards.  So we get .16972615 btc a day.  But our total investment is 1.2 million Khs x .00001000 per Khs = 12 btc.  Now our ROI is 70 days without electricity instead of 47.  That's diminishing returns. For a small coin with a small network hashrate, the more hashpower you commit, the less total btc value it produces per unit of hashpower.

Now, this is not the "scam" part.  The scam comes in with scrypt.cc paying out in excess of 50 Bitcoins per day with ROIs ranging from 2-4 months.  The historical data on scrypt coins is available.  Anyone that's willing to do the research can see for themselves that a 2 month ROI between Feb and Apr of this year at scrypt.cc was impossible.  Even using the cost per Khs of scrypt.cc's fake hashpower, it could not be done.  There are not enough small profitable coins that could produce that much btc that fast without diminishing returns setting in.  A large scale scrypt mining operation is forced to commit a large amount of its hashpower to litecoin.  Go ahead and take a look at how profitable litecoin has been this year and then ask yourself if a 2 month ROI was really ever possible or even if the current scrypt.cc ROI is possible.
